Love this local cinema. They get all the top movies. Staff are very helpful & friendly. My grandkids come up here every Christmas from Sydney & they always want to go to the cinema. The only problem for some people would be getting up the stairs. I think they do have a ramp for wheelchairs though.
I haven’t even been to this movie venue yet . Wow , just going on the prices of tickets and drinks I’m definitely going !!! Thank you Strand Cinema for keeping it real , you definitely deserve more stars Ok I have been now , it’s just the best value for money, seats are so comfortable even the recliner type .
Comfortable seats and nice staff. Okay popcorn. Good movie choices They have these oval lights on the side that are crazy bright and are in for about 15 to 20 minutes...almost blindingly bright and very annoying. There was over 15 minutes of annoying advertisements prior to movie. Suggestion...show up late or claim your seats and leave til the movie starts

Went to watch After 4 to have a laugh with my friend today and the staff were amazing. Really nice and had a hilarious conversation about the movie afterwards. Also the upgraded cinemas are great, love the new seating and recliner chairs!!
Every movie is only $10. It is a great venue. It is not "gold class" so don't go with high expectations or judge the cinema by its location or appearance. The cinema is clean, and has great sized screens and once the movie starts you could be anywhere. I saw Top Gun - Mav and it was exceptional! Will go to the cinemas more often now I know how great it is.
