As a woman with limited knowledge of cars, I've been ripped off by mechanics more than once. Not these guys though !!! Extremely polite, accommodating, helpful and HONEST. I felt safe taking my son's first car to this establishment for a service. The Subaru CVT transmission is running so smoothly. Couldn't pay me to take it take it anywhere else on the coast now.

The service I experienced here was amazing. The team here go above and beyond to take care of you. They put a new clutch in my Subaru then explained in detail what they did in a way I was able to understand as I don't know much about cars and engines. I will definitely be going back there for my car services. I will also take my Mazda 6 there for servicing. Thanks team!!

It's so hard to find a trustworthy mechanic but boy was I glad to hear about Steve and Taylor! They are both so friendly, accommodating and honest. Communication with Taylor is always amazing, taking the time to explain to me what needs doing and why in layman's terms so I don't get stung with a huge unexpected bill! I've been using them for the last 4 years and I won't be going anywhere else!! Their customer service is beyond what you expect, more like a friend than just a mechanic. The team at Steve Smiths Auto would have to be the most helpful and genuine mechanics I’ve ever used. Always willing to offer advice and are honest with what is and is not required in the services prioritising till the next one is due. They have been servicing our Subaru for over 5 years now and know everything there is to know about Subarus! We had a major issue with the automatic gearbox around 5-6 years ago which Subaru could not diagnose. To the point Subaru recommended a new vehicle! We were referred to these guys and Steve diagnosed the problem straight away and had it repaired that week.
