Came all the way from Western Australia following reviews that I had read about this Fish and Chip shop. Was not disappointed and better than what I expected. Excellent staff, great food, locally caught and superbly fresh quality. Sat out the front to eat our bounty and the car kept rolling up left, right and centre.
Can you open a shop in Wellington? Delicious and cheap, brilliant!
I have heard good reviews about this shop that stirred up my curiosity. It did not disappoint! Their menu was well priced and the battered fish I got was superb. Perfect balance of fish and batter, not to mention it's crispness. Their chips were done quite well with the outside fried to a crisp and the inside nice and fluffy.nThey sell an array of fresh seafood as well and take orders in advance. They have a few benches outside the shop where you can enjoy your meal fresh.nDefinitely will come back for more, and if you are not from Kāpiti, this is worth the drive.
Haven't been here for over 8 years and it still our favourite fish and chips in the world!!! Don't let the lack of decor fool you..what they prepare and cook is worth the wait!!! Terakihi, Butterfish, scallops, mussels, raw fish, chips...amazing
