Amazing take away fish and chips! The chips and the onion rings were so hot and crispy!! Even when the chips got cold, they were still crispy! Love the service! The owner helpfully recommended us to a $4 portion chips for 2 pax. Friendly and nice owner. God bless! Parking: There are a few free parking lots!
We're from Auckland and got recommended Stanley ave takeaways. The fish and chips and American hotdog we had were delicious! Better than most in town! Fresh clean oil so great chips and the fish was fresh as, hubby loved his dog and reasonable prices for the current climate. And the little friends were cute too!Food: 5/5
A small, basic dairy, but the Takeaways there are excellent. I live in Canada and when I come back to Te Aroha to visit family, I always get fish & chips from there. Good prices and good food. Was just back in NZ in January & February and bought from there a few times. Also, it's one of the few places that actually sells ginger-flavoured Monster drinks!

Cool looking menu. I didn't try anything because I only wanted something to drink. Convenient if you don't want to go all the way into town.
I went for takeaways on a recent Thursday night, placed my order and waited.. I thought my order was taking a while as people who ordered after me where getting their orders while I was still waiting.. The manager then realised they had missed my order. Well top marks to the team, they made my order a priority, apologised and made a gesture of some drinks and pineapple fritters.. In fairness they were very busy and everyone makes a mistake from time to time, but its all in the manner in which you put it right. Well done team and BTW dinner was absolutely delicious and thats why I drive miles to come eat here..
Fantastic little Dairy, nice and clean everyone wore masks, bought fish chips an a mussel fritter for tea. Great meal to have after a day of work. Great price an the staff are really nice, plenty of parking. Go an check it out. The foods beautiful, yum an they now sell paua fritters mmm

Very dull customer service. I felt like a beggar while am a customer who pays for my purchases. Am not sure if I will go back there again. The girl at the counter has zero if not negative customer service, and she has a very bad attitude. I hope things can improve, am worried they close shop in a few years' time...as when customer fades ...so as the patrons!
