I have been around the area for quite some time to know which schools have a great reputation and some that aren't. I have always heard great things about St Josephs, and I honestly wish I didn't apply my child to this school. When originally filling out the forms at the start I detailed a few things that may have been a concern, and I also followed up by talking with them on the phone. Everything was great, had the interview and was told someone will be in contact soon. A couple of weeks went by and was contacted by front staff the principal wanted to have a chat with me, little did I know it would turn into a interrogation. Never have I ever felt so low and humiliated in front of staff but to label a child without having any medical experience or certification, was so humiliating, I wish no parent to go through this situation. I left and felt so low but kept my head held high. By far the worst school with no support and no morals and respect.
My son started school at St. Joseph's and we also go to church in the same parish. Although not as big as other Catholic schools, we love the school, staff and the teachers. We are happy that such a caring environment will be the foundation on my son's life and we wish the best to all those who make the difference in our children's future.
I live around the corner and have never heard anything but good spoken of St Joseph's Catholic school in Corinda.nnThe annual fete at the end of July is first rate. Additionally, the school hall is used as a voting station during Queensland state elections.
Pretty cheap tennis court hire however, the fence netting at the back needs to be fixed.
