Went in for a minor emergency and was asked if I want to go to urgent care at a higher cost or wait 10 minutes for a GP. I said I can wait for the GP.nnI was walked through immediately surprisingly, not knowing that I had been admitted to emergency care.nnWhen it came time to pay I found out the girl at the desk had admitted me to urgent care. When I prompt her this was a mistake she just shrugged it off and said I will get money back with Medicare. Didn’t offer up that it was their mistake.nnPretty disappointing experience here, I would recommend going to one of the others is the area.
This was an unfriendly service in person. The receptionist was cold and unwelcoming and I felt scared by her behaviour . I didn’t want to give her my details because of it, so I left. She made me search for my Medicare online for 10 minutes and I eventually asked her why I couldn’t just give the number like any other surgery and she said ‘you can’t’. When I told her it would have been useful to know that initially , you should have seen her hateful facial expression. I was very upset. I told the GP who recommended them that I couldn’t go in there because the service was rude and is a representation of the doctors there. They thanked me for the heads up. I reported it to HADSCO. Please don’t accept rude service and ALWAYS report it.
The only reason I’m not giving zero stars here is because of the nurse who was great she was five star. Outside of her, we encountered possibly the worst Dr and bedside manner we have ever come across before. He was completely dismissive, condescending, had one foot out the door the whole time and basically was there going ‘well what do you want me to do about it we can’t even do bloods here’. My partner even considered handing in a complaint. For somewhere privately billed I would have expected better, should have just gone to the ED in Subiaco. Don’t waste your time here.
I have also been to this clinic and cannot praise highly enough the care I received. And such a short waiting time. The only downside for me was the cost. Being on the pension you don't have much leeway with your money. But apart from that , I would highly recommend this clinic.
To the Nurses, admin staff and Doctors thank you so much for the 10 out of 10 care you provided to my son for his hand. X-rays, surgeons called and a follow up call today, was the most amazing stress free care I have ever been provided. I highly recommend St John Urgent Care Osborne Park. Thank you all very much.
