St Charles of Borromeo Primary school is an absolutely brilliant school and we cannot be more happier. We moved our children to St Charles of Borromeo at the start of 2021 and I can honestly say it has been the best decision we ever made for them! I have seen both my children grow so much in confidence and without a doubt thrive in their learning. Both my children are extremely happy and are always sharing with us all the wonderful experiences they have at St Charles. They both love this school so much and are always telling us how happy they are since they changed schools and started here. This is definitely a testament to the exceptional school principal Miranda Zuzic and the teachers for their amazing dedication in ensuring that every child gets what they need to help support them. I would also like to add that St Charles has the most beautiful large playing grounds for the children to play on and an array of playing equipment, my son especially loves the amazing sensory garden which he loves to spend time in. We are truly grateful to be part of such an incredible school, thank you so much St Charles!
We are absolutely thrilled with St Charles Borromeo Primary School. Our children commenced in years Prep and Grade 2 after we relocated back to Melbourne from overseas. The leadership teams and teachers are kind, friendly and very committed. They have incredible systems in place to ensure that all children feel that they are a part of the school community from the outset. The buddy system worked wonders for our youngest who couldn't actually speak English when he began and their values-based and values-led education is exactly what the children need. There is a real sense of community, all teachers are incredibly engaged and willing to support and provide feedback and the children feel that they are a part of the school family. Our children have excelled even though they found themselves in a different country, new school and new environment with our youngest now not only speaking fluent English but reading at a higher than expected level. This is a testament of the school's hands-on approach and real dedication to the children. We also love that they incorporate mindfulness meditation, yoga and resilience training with all the children, empowering and inspiring them as they move through their day. We are very proud to be a part of the St Charles Borromeo Community.
St Charles is a brilliant school that we have been involved with since 2012. We chose to enroll our children at St Charles because of the smaller size and how welcoming and reassuring it felt at the time of our tour. All three of our children have formed beautiful relationships with the very caring teachers and staff and of course other students, we highly recommend this school!
The experience of my son and I at St. Charles Borromeo has been exceptional. My son loves his school, teachers, staff and students. His self-confidence, commitment to study, and high sense of responsibility had dramatically increased, and he always come back from school happy. In my opinion, this is related to the professionalism of the school staff and management, and how they are looking after my son attitude and wellbeing. Teachers are passionate about seeing their students succeed. They are so great about sharing moments of pride they see within your child – their good behaviours and achievements. The teachers are genuinely invested in the student's education and their growth as learners. Adjustments are made as needed to meet the needs of the student. St Charles integrates compassion into their teaching standards and builds leaders through their classes and lessons, emphasising values. The administration is open-minded and thinks outside the box to make St. Charles Borromeo a successful educational experience for the students. St Charles is not just a school, it is the second home for our family. I definitely will enrol my second son in St Charles Great team – great school!
I'm very pleased and proud to have my children attend St Charles. It's no secret 2020 was a stressful year for all! Thankfully at St Charles, the pressure was eased by the enormous amount of support from our principlestarted in 2020 and staff. Our school is growing more and more each year in terms of students and education. No matter your level, each child is supported accordingly, don't let the composite system deter you. Outside of the educational side of things, St Charles hosts a variety of social activities throughout the year too!
We moved our kids to St Charles Borromeo at the start of 2021.. It is the best decision we’ve made for our kids. St Charles is an absolute delight, the teachers show a level of care and dedication to the students that I’ve not seen before and it’s a privilege that our kids have the opportunity to be a part of this community. The principal, Miranda Zuzic, is an inspiration with her positivity and firm but very fair approach. We have felt so supported at St Charles. The wider school community, which is part of the Parish of St Kevin’s, has been so welcoming to our family. The school buildings and grounds are in excellent condition, the school is spacious and modern and is always very well kept. Jennifer on reception is amazing and a wealth of knowledge and always ready to help. I can’t speak more highly of St Charles Borromeo.
St Charles Borromeo is such wonderful, caring and supportive school for both the students and parents. The teachers that our children have had over the last couple years have been attentive and sincere with the way they approach each and every student. Covid has been tough for all but we have been fortunate to have the Principal reach out and support every step of the way. The small school size appealed to us along with the strong emphasis on values and sense of community that St Charles thrives to embed on a daily basis.
Picking St Charles Borromeo Catholic Primary School has been a great decision for us. We feel supported, included and are always treated with respect! Our son is always telling us wonderful stories about his experiences both in class in educational references but also through his friendships and relationships with his teachers. Both last year and this year, there has been many ups and downs due to COVID restrictions, but St Charles has always kept our spirits up and ensured we feel part of the community both online and face-to-face. Thank you SCB.
St Charles is a great school, from the Principal whom you can see loves her community and students through to the teachers who have been so supportive during these trying times. My daughters LOVE their school and are proud to say they are from SCB. Great sense of community, you will not regret sending your children here!
