St Charles Borromeo is a stand out school. We moved our daughters to St Charles Borromeo at the start of 2024 from a large Catholic primary school and we immediately knew that this is where we are meant to be.nnOur family has been welcomed into the most nurturing community. The school is led by its wonderful Principal, Miranda Zuzic, and the teachers and staff all go above and beyond to create the perfect learning environment for our children.nnOur daughters are excited to attend school every day and we have complete confidence that our girls are in the best possible care.nThe small size of the school ensures a tailored approach to our girls’ education and this is invaluable. The serene grounds also create a peaceful sanctuary.nnOur girls are thriving and we feel so fortunate to be a part of this beautiful school.
UPDATE: Our son is now in year 6, and we are so pleased that he has had the opportunity to attend St Charles. The smaller size of the school means that students get the support they need, and they are being well-prepared for the transition to high school. Academically - the team at St Charles have been recognised as leaders in education, and that is evident in the day to day operation of the school.nI'd highly recommend that you consider St Charles when considering schools for your children.nOur son is in year 3 at St Charles, and we are very happy with the school. The staff are caring and professional, the facilities and equipment are excellent, and the OOSH program proves a terrific complement to the school.
St Charles of Borromeo Primary school is an absolutely brilliant school and we cannot be more happier. We moved our children to St Charles of Borromeo at the start of 2021 and I can honestly say it has been the best decision we ever made for them! I have seen both my children grow so much in confidence and without a doubt thrive in their learning.nnBoth my children are extremely happy and are always sharing with us all the wonderful experiences they have at St Charles. They both love this school so much and are always telling us how happy they are since they changed schools and started here. This is definitely a testament to the exceptional school principal Miranda Zuzic and the teachers for their amazing dedication in ensuring that every child gets what they need to help support them.nnI would also like to add that St Charles has the most beautiful large playing grounds for the children to play on and an array of playing equipment, my son especially loves the amazing sensory garden which he loves to spend time in.nnWe are truly grateful to be part of such an incredible school, thank you so much St Charles!
We are absolutely thrilled with St Charles Borromeo Primary School. Our children commenced in years Prep and Grade 2 after we relocated back to Melbourne from overseas.nnThe leadership teams and teachers are kind, friendly and very committed. They have incredible systems in place to ensure that all children feel that they are a part of the school community from the outset. The buddy system worked wonders for our youngest who couldn't actually speak English when he began and their values-based and values-led education is exactly what the children need.nnThere is a real sense of community, all teachers are incredibly engaged and willing to support and provide feedback and the children feel that they are a part of the school family. Our children have excelled even though they found themselves in a different country, new school and new environment with our youngest now not only speaking fluent English but reading at a higher than expected level. This is a testament of the school's hands-on approach and real dedication to the children.nnWe also love that they incorporate mindfulness meditation, yoga and resilience training with all the children, empowering and inspiring them as they move through their day. We are very proud to be a part of the St Charles Borromeo Community.
The experience of my son and I at St. Charles Borromeo has been exceptional.nMy son loves his school, teachers, staff and students.nHis self-confidence, commitment to study, and high sense of responsibility had dramatically increased, and he always come back from school happy. In my opinion, this is related to the professionalism of the school staff and management, and how they are looking after my son attitude and wellbeing.nTeachers are passionate about seeing their students succeed. They are so great about sharing moments of pride they see within your child – their good behaviours and achievements.nThe teachers are genuinely invested in the student's education and their growth as learners. Adjustments are made as needed to meet the needs of the student.nSt Charles integrates compassion into their teaching standards and builds leaders through their classes and lessons, emphasising values.nThe administration is open-minded and thinks outside the box to make St. Charles Borromeo a successful educational experience for the students.nSt Charles is not just a school, it is the second home for our family.
