What a find!! The staff are absolutely fantastic — from the security at the front to the kitchen staff bringing food out — everyone had a smile on their face and is very polite and attentive! The drinks were great, strong, and very well-priced! The food smelled amazing, but we had just had dinner, so didn’t get to taste it, but the prices were also very good! Absolutely loved the music — a great mix of 80’s and 90’s! Definitely coming back to check out the upstairs part and try some of that food!!

Great venue! Great staff! Friendly and laid back for drinks. Pool table up stairs with a smaller lounge area. Staff were amazing and had great knowledge of cocktails and spirits. Would absolutely recommend.

I love the Spleen. It may look small from the outside, but it is a hidden treasure of a place. The staff are always so friendly and attentive, while the decor is cosy and unpretentious. You immediately feel welcome, safe and in good company. Reasonably priced drinks and decent music. Despite being in the bustling city, Spleen Bar has a small community feel about it.

Highly recommend Spleen, it is a very friendly and safe space. Every bar tender and staff member is so lovely and welcoming. Joel especially was very helpful when talking about what our drink preferences are. Would recommend 100%

One of my favourite bars in Melbourne. The drinks are great and the staff and security are fantastic. I love going by myself and sitting at the bar after a long shift, its always welcoming and safe.

Fun comedy, good priced drinks, great atmosphere. Was a fun Monday night out.

Went there for a drink at the bar, happened to be comedy night after I got my beer I was told it's was tickets only and I have to go upstairs... I asked if I payed the $10 to see the show can I drink at the bar, I was then told 'it was sold out' when there was other people sitting at the bar and plenty of space.. for this you get 1 star...

I would rate this place 0 stars if I could. been here twice in the last couple of months and both times the same experience. the girl with short curly dark hair both times was extremely rude, hostile and dismissive when I asked about drinks and what they would recommend. literally absolutely 0 customer service and so rude to my friends and I both times and I am a young friendly female. caught this girl whispering to bald guy about me too. pathetic and poor for someone who works in hospitality. was shocked and disappointed to have the same experience TWICE. bald guy swooped in and thankfully served me afterward. if you hate your job just leave

Love this place, great vibes, music and patrons. Only thing is their pool table must be a bit wonky cause I couldn't sink a ball all night

love the bar staff and drinks here - actual bar itself is amazing. I'd come here more often if it weren't for that one security guard red head bearded guy who has some kind of superiority complex and is always quite rude and unwelcoming. This isn't an isolated incident, happens almost all the time when he's working. There's another seccy who I remember being really good a while back, wonder what happened to them...
