We recently moved into our townhouse at Sperway Manors and although the design is good and the fitout reasonable, there have been many issues which have soured the whole experience, especially as the townhouse were advertised as having “style, quality, and luxury”.

An arrogant and incompetent Site Supervisor resulted in poor project management on site. Poor workmanship, shoddy finishes and fixes, and a lack of attention to detail in properly finishing were evident. Many shortcuts were taken, sacrificing quality for speed. Cheap and nasty building materials were used externally (garden, pathways, fences). Specifications were not followed.

Lack of testing/certification meant many problems arose for us, including faulty appliances, air conditioning, hot water heating, dishwasher, and range hood. Several Rain Water leaks (caused by damaged decking roofs), blocked sewers and stormwater drains were encountered.

Perhaps the most disappointing aspects are the vendor’s lack of acknowledgement of the latest issues and the absence of any remedial actions/works.
