This evening we have had the worst pizza take away we have ever had. We have ordered many pizzas previously over the last 4 years or so from Speedy’s Pizza at Mudgeeraba and have always been very happy with the quality and price. Tonight was the first time we have ordered since it changed hands and not only was it over $50 for 3 pizzas and a small garlic bread but the pizzas were greasy, with hardly any toppings except for a ton of pineapple and burnt mushrooms on what was supposed to be a super supreme pizza and a chicken supreme pizza. We will be taking our business elsewhere. Extremely disappointed.
Ordered pizza through Menulog to be delivered for dinner. Made promptly, delivered quickly and came presented well with care! Extremely tasty and good value for money. Recommend
I've always had the T-rex, that used to be a very good size pizza full of toppings, I wouldn't even be able to finish the pizza by myself and have leftovers.Now I can finish the pizza and I still have space for more food. Since the change of owner, in the beginning the pizza has never been cut evenly, but I let that slip, because the pizza were still good, but as time went on, the pizza toppings has reduced, and the size & pizza base has reduced. Even the deals which was another reason what made Speedys so good has been changed and some removed. I used to love Speedys before these changes. This is the last time I'm getting pizza from them for the foreseeable future.
Being a local in mudgeeraba we used love speedys pizza . Since change of ownership it has been woeful . Greasy and covered in so much cheese I can’t even taste the pizza I ordered. If I wanted a cheese pizza I’d order one . Yuk !! You’ve lost us for good and judging by other local reviews many won’t be back . Shame .
Just ordered three pasta dishes from Speedy’s and the most pitiful woeful serving and offering I have ever seen from a restaurant. The serve size was pitiful and the quality only just acceptable. Fortunately garlic bread can’t really go too wrong Last time experience, definitely not Speedy and definitely not quality of value for money
Having been a local for many many years and having ordered Speedys in the past and always happy with it I must admit I was very disappointed with the pizzas we just picked up. We called ahead to order and asked for the Family deal which clearly states 4 Favourite Pizzas. Large Soft Drink and Garlic Bread. It doesn’t state anywhere which pizzas weren’t included. False advertising to start with. We wanted the Garlic Prawn pizza to which we were told wasn’t included in the deal. We decided to cancel the Family Deal and just order the pizzas we wanted and asked for pick up. We got the pizzas and realised that they were very small, with little toppings on them, the prawn pizza we ordered barely had any prawns on it to the point of a few slices not even including any prawns at all. Very disappointing indeed as we were big fans of Speedys in the past and have decided to take our business elsewhere. We ended up ordering from Maries Pizza. This review is purely to give the business a chance to improve on what seems to be a simple rectification. Best of luck in the near future.
Great place to order pizza. Never had a bad pizza yet. Parking: The parking lot at the speedys pizzeria can accommodate up to 10 vehicles and I have never encountered any issues with finding a spot during my visits, even in the evenings. This is convenient for customers who are picking up their orders and ensures a smooth and stress-free experience Wheelchair accessibility: No steps I could see when I go there
Looks like someone's trying to re-invent the wheel again.. just when it got good.... we used to order from here quite regularly... not any more... cheap Tuesdays are gone and that may be a sign of the times, but the pizzas have taken a nose dive in quality and presentation... Shane really...
See edit below. Love this place. Half price Tuesdays and now Mondays too. Wicked value for great food! Update: now 1/2 price pizza, curries and pasta every night!!! Update Jan 2023. Dunno what's happened, maybe a change in ownership. Reduced menu and the quality has nosedived majorly. Have tried a couple times to check consistency and can confirm its just consistently no longer very good. No longer recommend
Consistently changing your deals. Your pizza was worth the tuesdays rates, now it's just worthless. Reply: That was the feedback; make your Pizzas worth paying full price.
