Even though it's just been replanted, this is a great place to ride as a novice to learn and practice skills on well maintained tracks, great for confidence building quiet trails and some beautiful views

Great MTB Park with lots of trail use Trailforks to navigate, facilities limited to parking then one good clean long drop inside forest

This is a MTB circuit, not a tour agency, and the 'track faeries' are to be thoroughly congratulated for the work that they do to make the enjoyable trails. I no longer live in the Canberra region, and haven't previously ridden the East Kowen circuit, but it's a pleasant addition to the Sparrow Hill trails that I've previously done.

Excellent if you are  looking for easy grade XC mountain bike trails. There are still over 50k of trails and Col is busy making new ones post the forest cull  Mainly Kowen .

Prob Canberra's most underrated trail area. Great flow here can see you do plenty of kms without burning out. Light on facilities compared to Stromlo, but there's a toilet just prior to the highway underpass.

Excellent volunteer built trail system.  Not as rowdy as many machine built 'destination' networks, but you can while away days over the network of trails at Kowen and Sparrow.

Great trails.. really muddy after the rains and technical with all the roots. Trails are well signed. Follow the recommended trails for Family rides and Beginners.

A great place to turn the pedals over

Great single track. Plenty of parking.Plenty of descent for those willing to climb.

Very well maintained MTB tracks and very fun and enjoyable to ride
