We are Queenstown’s 1st full time qualified sports podiatry clinic providing a complete and wide range of services for both recreational and elite athletes as well as everyday people. We pride ourselves on using the most up to date evidence based treatment.

Working with leading foot and ankle specialists Gareth has developed up to date methods in treating lower limb injury & brings to Queenstown some very new and exciting treatment options for heel and achilles pain through dry needling & prolotherapy.

I had been having problems with my tramping boots and painful feet. 3 new sets of boots later I still had the same problem and I was recommended to see a podiatrist. I have been delighted with the help I have received from Southern Sports Podiatry. The on line booking system was user friendly and appointments were available within days. I was seen by Patti, who patiently listened to my story and pin pointed my foot problem. Patti offered a selection of remedies and between us we decided on the best option for me. I can not fault Patti's manner which was friendly,  professional, practical and inclusive. After the first visit I was symptom free and enjoying my tramping again. The follow up care has been of equally high standard.  I am enormously grateful to Patti and the clinic and I have no reservation in recommending their care. Thank you.

Gareth was informative, welcoming and incredibly genuine. He genuinely cares on getting you better & to be the best version of yourself, and on first 'meet' makes you feel listened to so he can help you the best way practicable.

Visited with pretty bad pain in one foot. Patti made up some innersoles the pain was gone within a week. I completed the Queenstown half two weeks later pain free.  Would highly recommend Patti and this clinic.

Lovely staff and kind experience. Had a small black spot on my heel and was told by other medical institutions to just wait until it got worse. Came to this clinic and was instantly diagnosed and treated. Four weeks and my veruca were gone. Swift veruca treatment with microwaves was amazing one of a kind solution to painful warts and veruca. Thanks team!!

Have been having knee pain for a while and had a chat with Patti for solutions and went with the Perineural Injection Therapy PIT and has worked wonders. Would definitely recommend if you have any  problems

Gareth was exceptional at treating my insertional Achilles tendinopathy. He gave me new insoles, strengthening exercises, and we did shockwave therapy until I was able to play relatively pain free. He has a wealth of knowledge and is well versed on the latest research. It was so nice to meet a practitioner willing to go the extra mile. Incredible customer service! Couldn’t recommend him more!

I took an appointment a few months ago for a slight redness on my toe, and had to pay 220$ for a 2 min appointment to be told it’s fine and we shouldn’t do anything. I had to pay the amount of a normal consultation, when honestly there was nothing to pay for except the price of a pair of gloves! I can’t believe some people have no shame to ask for such an amount for 2 MINUTES doing nothing! Can’t you realise that this is a full day pay for some people to spend in 2 minutes?! OUTRAGEOUS. I gave 1 star to the lady who was lovely despite the fact that I felt robbed in the end.

Don't bother reading this review, just book! Awesome Podiatrist!  I phoned up to try to arrange an appointment and even though they were fully booked for the week i was offered an after hours slot on the same day at no extra cost : Amazing service!  I have seen many podiatrists over the years and my appointment with Gareth was easily the best. 1st class treatment for my toe injury and then Gareth went above and beyond to give me advice on how to prevent any further injuries etc  I couldn't recommend this place enough, worked wonders for me. Gareth was fantastic at fitting footbeds  for my ski boots. As a ski instructor it is so important to have comfortable feet since you are standing and skiing on them all day long. Gareth made my feet fit comfortably inside my ski boots and left me with a stable and solid platform so I could ski all day with no pain. Would highly recommend if you are looking to have foot beds fitted in your ski boots, to make your day on the slopes all that more enjoyable.

Gareth helped identify the cause of my foot pain as well as getting me proper insoles and advice on new running shoes. He has a lot of knowledge and goes out of his way to help. I would recommend him!
