If you have had a work injury DO NOT Go through sonic even if your work has referred you to them. These doctors do not care at all about your health and will force you back into work without fixing any of your injury’s. I had a serious work injury to my shoulder and neck last year. During each appointment I had to constantly explain my pain and injury to the doctor while he just sat there and told me I was fine and realy feeling pressured back into work. Now that I’ve been forced back into work and my claim has been closed I need to go through my normal GP to restart the process while I’m working with my injury and possible making it worse because I was not given the right time or treatment for recovery.
Can't thank the team enough for today. Our appointment was 8.20 and we we're all done by 9.30! The lady who did my bloods was so lovely when I told her I had a huge fear and even had distraction pictures on the wall...genius idea! Everyone we came into contact with was friendly and efficient. Soglad we made the trip from Brisbane to come here to be seen quicker. Can't recommend enough for visa processing.
Friendly staff and doctor, the clinic was very swift to get me through the procedures. All of my visa health checkup was over in an hour and a half. I can't comment on the negative reviews here, as I had a great experience. The waiting time was only about half an hour. The reports were very quickly sent to the authorities for visa processing!
Purely there for the Employer and WorkCover. Minimize all injuries and don't bother investigating injuries. Might as well call themselves "insurance company doctors"
My appointment was 9:30 signed in at 9:40, waited for 2 hours to be called and paid at 11:45. Sent to a waiting room again and still waiting.... all I ever do in this place is wait. It’s been 2.5 hours and still waiting... called in at 11:55 to commence the med exam. just did BP, urine, etc. They say in the confirmation email that it’s 2 hours for whole medical process to complete. THIS IS NOT TRUE. It’s 12:25 and still waiting for X-ray. Will be closing in on 3 hours soon... So disappointing... Update: 9:30 am - 1:20 pm . 3 h 50 m , thank you .
I needed to get a copy of my partners last medical. The staff were so pleasant and helpful. They went out of their way to assist me. Thank you much appreciated.
Lovely staff, always happy to see us and our doctor, stephen is without a doubt one of the nicest people we have dealt with since moving to the gold coast, goes out of his way to help. Highly satisfied with his service. All the staff we have dealt with have been fantastic even when i went for an ultra sound.
Had an appointment at 11.10am, I waited 45min until someone came to see me for the first check don t expect an apology for being so late, they act like you should be thankful for them to see you.. First check lasted 10min and had to wait another 35min before doing the rest of the medical check.. This is a joke! Also love the happiness on their face when they ask for the $379.25... Have to mentioned, the doctor himself was friendly and quick.. probably the only one caring there..
Was seen by Dr Stephen Simmons for my injury under Work Cover While I saw him for my injury, he would advise and say things to my face about resting and even said he will give me a week to rest and let it heal followed with Physio but then once pressured by Work Cover to sign me off for work that was he did and told them different to what he told me. Very disappointed and hope He dows better by his future clients.
I recently brought my partner in and couldn't believe the old fashioned quality service that I received all the way through the process from the girls at reception to the medical staff inside. Such a lovely, wonderful and professional group of healthcare staff. In particular my wife was petrified of having a needle inserted for her blood test but the kind gentleman by the name of Matt had her in tears of laughter and made her feel comfortable. Thank you.
