Absolutely ridiculous. Why bother overbooking, if you cant handle the patient inflow? Why scheduling for a time, if you cant manage the patients. Suggestion- Try prioritizing patients according to their need. Be as realistic as possible to the patient. Respect the time of patient. DONT OVERBOOK IF YOU GUYS CANT HANDLE THAT MANY NUMBER OF PATIENTS. Waiting for almost 2 hrs now with few people on queue. People came after me already left. and me waiting outside, yet to go in..
The staff and doctors are very professional and nice. I spent less than two hours to finish all my processes. The waiting time was not that long but acceptable.
I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised, especially after seeing all the negative reviews earlier on. It is possible that they have improved the service and process. I went for my visa medical exam today, and not only were the receptionists very friendly, but all the medical personnel were exemplary. The whole process was quite streamlined, with different sections of the medical exam done by different personnel and the waiting time was tolerable. I went there ready for the long haul, but came out in a little bit less than 1.5 hours.
Had to review how files are marked and moved across different section of medical examination. Me and my partner had an appointment at 8am, checked in around 8 and was the second person for medical examination,but our file had a check in time of 8.30 and 8.34 respectively because of someone staff fault. Lots of people checked in after us left, but we were there waiting for our turn, which took us more then 2.5 hours. Definitely would suggest , for better filing or token system so no one had to wait forever because of some one fault.
No delayed, very kind staffs , very cleaned. I was worried from all those reviews but it was actually very fast. What i did is Medical examination + chest x-ray in 2 hours. No need to go to Sydney. I highly recommend this place. only spend $6 for parking
My booking was done over the phone and the person making the booking misspelled my first as well as my last name. I was assured that the people in the clinic can fix this and the name will be similar as per my passport. However, upon reaching the clinic I was told that they have got nothing to do with the booking. All they can do was flag my name for the immigration department so they know my name is incorrect. At the end of the test, I was given the medical information sheet on which my first and last name are incorrect as well. I fail to understand why was I told during booking on the phone that the clinic will fix everything? The entire situation should have been fixed during booking. This is simply pathetic and outrageous as these documents go to the immigration department. Many of my friends have to get their medicals done for visa purpose. I have warned them NOT to go to this clinic.
I have never encountered a less competent office in my life. Their continuous mess ups and absolute lack of knowledge about what is their responsibility caused months of delay in the processing of my visa. When corrected they deny their mistakes, and when they are finally convinced to do what they should have done in the first place they are arrogant and almost insulting. I think that they know they are the only medical examiner in Canberra so they feel absolutely no need to improve their awful services which cost people time, money, and opportunities they have worked so hard to attain.
Had my visa medical examination recently. The staffs were quite friendly and the waiting time was much better than expected I read the reviews first before I went there - so I was prepared for a long waiting time. Everything including chest X-ray was completed in less than one and a half hours. However, I do think the price is a bit too expensive.
Clean facility, friendly staffs, nice location close to library, Westfield, groceries, etc. There is a cafe in the same building. Warning: queue was LONG. My appointment was at 10:50. I left at 12:50. There was a sign it can take up to 2 hours. Take your book, smartphone, charger there are plug-ins, snack, and things to do. Tip: A doctor told me that Monday is the busiest. Friday is slowest compared to other weekdays. If you haven't made a reservation, try Friday.
Good experience with visa medical exams. The staff and Doctors were friendly and it didn't take much time to have things done. I found the process more pleasant as it didn't require us to undress and wait at the reception just wearing a medical gown as I have experienced before.
