With gratitude & appreciation to Somerville Funerals When my mother passed away we contacted a few funeral homes options on the Gold Coast. We preferred Somerville Funerals for a number of reasons and we are extremely grateful for everything they have done for us. Brooke was our initial contact and professionally assisted us from start to finish. - We liked that they had everything under one roof, we didnt need to travel far and wide to deal with the different aspects - They collected mum and took her body into care at their onsite facility within 3 hours of calling them - Brooke met with the whole family at short notice and very kindly and patiently accommodated each of us - They guided us through what was required. They had everything prepared and handled a lot of admin for us so we didnt need to stress about these things as we dealt with our pain - Brooke assisted us to put together a special day that was very personal and reflected my mums nature. - The costs of the process were clearly and transparently communicated throughout and the final account was less than some of the more expensive alternatives we initially investigated. As such, we feel the value proposition was good.  I am glad we made the choice to go with Somerville and I would have no hesitation to go with them again, although I hope its a very long time before I do.

Sharron from Somerville Funerals looked after us every step of the way, and made sure that Dad's funeral was everything we wanted it to be.

I can highly recommend the service of Somerville Funerals.  Brooke in particular was incredible in helping my family organise a beautiful, personalised farewell for my Dad.  She provided open and frequent communication, great attention to detail and genuine care and sensitivity during our time of grief.  The feedback from those in attendance was unanimously positive and we couldn’t have imagined a more respectful and moving service. We’re very grateful to Brooke and the Somerville team.

Kay and Camille were so helpful, professional and caring.  Everything they suggested from the bamboo white coffin to the biodegradable Turtle Urn that we were able to "let go" in the ocean, were absolutely perfect.  Thank you so much for helping us through this difficult time and make it simple and exactly what we wanted for our loved one.

Sommerville Funerals were fantastic. Myself and mother were from interstate arranging a funeral for a family member, and we couldn't be happier with the help we received, as well as the compassion. The funeral service was absolutely wonderful. We thank them for their help.
