The food was so damn good, that it brought tears to my eyes! You could taste the attention to detail and appreciate the care taken. Everything was so well balanced and flavourful. I tried as many plates as I could and I'm so glad I went for their deserts...just brilliant! In addition to the food, the decor is lovely with decent views. The service was genuine, provided with care and pride. Prices are amazing too, you get a lot for your money. I am definitely going back and I recommend you to try.
Love this coffee shop / lounge area at Shamans! Very nice location right next to the river, friendly staff. Has a very comfy, chill vibe - kind of like a low-key co-working space. It can get quite popular with students but there’s always space. Open every day 8-5. Edit: one of the cafes that have iced coffee menus all throughout the year! The seating area remains open even after 5pm which is great. Super friendly staff!
Wow this place is such a hidden gem with great value for money. Definitely need to get the hake, linguine and arancini! The chicken thighs were quite dry so wouldn't recommend them! But will try the prawns next time! Also fantastic waiter! He was on his own serving all the tables but did a fantastic job. Very attentive!
This is a tiny place on the Thames river side. We went to have lunch with some colleagues. The place is located alongside some other center and they share the entrance. The staff is quite friendly and try to help you. The food is tasty but the portions are small even though they recommend you to share. The Meze platter was amazing and the Free Range crispy chicken thighs were really tender and tasty. We also had some prawns which was quite tasty. We finished off with the Dark Chocolate and Tonka Mousse - it was good but not great. Overall it was a decent food but with small portions. However you had keep asking for bread at the table and they were quite slow with getting it.
Very chill restaurant located near the waterside. The server got the order of “matcha” mixed up with “mocha” but was kind enough to replace it with the right drink. My pasta was really tasty, though I wasn’t the biggest fan of the flowers. My friend who had the chicken said it was too little for the price. But the ambiance of the restaurant is really nice and it’s enjoyable to get out of the loud city for a meal.
I had a lovely experience at solstice for a friends birthday dinner. The food was great. Simple food, but tastes amazing. The servers were attentive and helpful. They presented the birthday cake in such a fun way. I definitely recommend. Great experience !
Worth trying if you have company for a more balanced meal. Portion was quite small fist size. Maybe the dishes can be enjoyed tapas-style, but it also works for a light dinner. The seafood tasted plump and fresh, and the thyme baguette was irresistible. Just hoped it came wish more veggies… The vegetarian options except the linguini and tomato mozzarella salad did not look too enticing. Table for one means the counter. Sounds a bit sad, but if the chefs don’t mind, I’d enjoy staring at the kitchen lol. Can feel a little neglected as they are super busy. Friday evening, fully booked, what’s to complain.
Top notch foods given the very affordable price level. A rather simple selection of menu - we ordered two pan fried hake and one butternut squash pasta between two people. To be fair a server told us that the place does tapas style dishes that are meant to share however portion of each dish was just as large as full dish. All in all pleasantly surprised by quality of food and the location lovely view of Tate Modern - Surprisingly not busy for Saturday brunch time which was actually a bonus point!
Oh my boy, the food is super tasty, and very fresh and healthy. The bill doesn't break your bank, either. We paid £60 for two people, and we are so full. The most recommended dishes are beetroot salad and crispy chicken thigh. The linguini is ok, still good, but not as good as the other ones.Food: 5/5
The restaurant is such a little hidden gem in London. Being a native, I was impressed with their prompt service and choice of offerings. The wine menu is extensive and has wide spread variants. The vegetarian mezze platter is a sure hit and well presented. The entire atmosphere is very chilled and relaxed. Mr Rares, Nacho and the entire team were so kind and we had an excellent time dining there. Fabulous view overlooking millennium bridge and sure a cosy setting. Thank you for the generosity. One of my new favourites and we are sure to return multiple times!
