Decent budget hotel, particularly if you are looking for temporary accommodation. Close to shops and good places, as well as Fortitude Valley Station.
It had the basics of a clean room . Needed a bath mat, a better place to boil the jug, as I didn't use it due to the bad location of a Power Point. I squashed a few baby cockroaches also crawling about. With my shoe.
2nd room was clean and comfortable but other guests were noisey and music blasting during the day and night but you get what you pay for.
Small quaint rooms, basic and simple, fairly cheap. After hours check in is totally bad! reception hours say 8am - 8pm arrived 6pm, no one available, office closed. Hard to find parking.
No doubt the whole building is old. But with this price tag, the location plus get all basic things you need in your room...nothing can complain about!
