One of the most interesting attractions in Queenstown is the Skyline Luge. It’s a thrilling activity that offers a perfect combination of adventure, stunning views, and family-friendly fun.nnAfter taking the Skyline Gondola up to Bob’s Peak, you can hop on a luge cart and navigate your way down the winding tracks. With options for both a scenic track and a more adventurous one, it’s an activity suitable for all ages and skill levels. The breathtaking views of Queenstown, Lake Wakatipu, and the surrounding mountains make the experience even more unforgettable. Plus, you can go as many times as you like! It’s definitely a must-try for anyone visiting Queenstown.
A fantastic experience while in Queenstown. Budget for at least an hour or two to be at the top as well. There is a restaurant or just drinks section coffee and justices too. There is a shop with gifts and clothes, there are a few photo opportunities, and lots of other activities if you want them as options. We had a great time, had next to no wait time we came around midday on a Saturday.nYou can also buy tickets online, but you don't have to.
Skyline is certainly a worthwhile destination to visit at least once. I purchased a three-day pass, which included five luge tickets. If you think your children might not be able to operate the luge independently, you can ride tandem with them. Skyline parking costs $6 per hour, with a 20% discount for those with a three-day or longer pass. The luge is a highly recommended activity, offering amazing views and a wonderful atmosphere; paragliding is another option available there.
A must do in Queenstown, tickets are a bit pricey but absolutely worth it. Food at the cafe is also great, and the ticket price includes link to e-photos that you can take before going in the gondola and at the peak. Go early or prebook tickets, queues can get long.
Amazing Views of the spectacularly beautiful Queenstown. Restaurant and observation deck at the top. Tram cars are spotless and seem quite new.
