Going up the Sky Tower was easily one of the highlights of my time in Auckland. The view from the top is just insane—seeing the harbour and the mountains stretching out in every direction was absolutely breathtaking. It really gives you a sense of how beautiful the city is.nnBut honestly, it wasn’t just about the view. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the history displays around the viewing decks. It gave so much context to what I was looking at and added a nice layer to the experience that I wasn't expecting.nnThen came the real kick—the SkyJump. Standing on the edge and taking that leap was absolutely amazing. The adrenaline rush is indescribable! It’s the perfect mix of sightseeing and thrill. If you're in Auckland, you have to do it.
We booked a table for 4, 2 adults and 2 children. The view is just stunning! We had good weather, which allowed to see far in all directions, that was amazing. The food was really except from the desert. A bit conceptual to our taste, we would have more appreciated something classic. I personally had the cheeses which were great!nThe speed of the 360 rotation is very gentle. Was worried at start to get sick, but it is really ok. Even for my very sensitive girl, it was all good.

Great, friendly staff. We paid the extra $15 NZ to have a second visit, which worked well to be able to do day and sunset+lights coming on. They take you to the first observation level, then, when you're ready, you go up to the highest level. There you can watch the people jumping off, or doing the walk! Then, they drop you at the bar area and you can walk back down to the first observation level. You can stay as long as you like.
Awesome tower, excellent views. We did not buy tickets in advance but it was easy access with no waiting time at all, guess we were lucky. We were able to visit in 3 different levels, all good. Weather was good so we had great views. Staff was friendly and helpful. Not too much people this time so we had opportunity to take our time and watch everything in peace.
