This is a real Auckland gem. Amazing for kids of all ages. Make sure you buy tickets online before you go to cut the long queue (due to so many tourists) and for a price discount. Annoyingly just as you pay you have to have your photo taken but just smile and pass. Penguins are amazing, so is the open top fish tank near the children's soft play area. The revolving aquarium is the best ever. Recently a member of the family did the shark dive this is amazing too. A must visit for a tourist, if you live in Auckland and have children buy the yearly pass.

Very good aquarium and great for both young and older kids. Lots of interactive displays and the play area is great. Full of teaching opportunities for teachers and parents and self-learning for kids. The fishes and all the other animals are lively, interesting and seem to be very healthy. Unfortunately, I don't have photos of the sharks, turtles and stingrays but they are just as beautiful and majestic.

The place already seems a little bit used and old. But the activities and exhibitions are really nice. They have an amazing room where you can paint your fish and they would scan it an put it on the screen. You can get a student discount with your student ID or sometimes they have 15% discount tickets on the travel magazines.

Good opportunity to see penguins and other creatures of the southern ocean. Good facilities, like cafe, toilets, gift shop. I think Kelly Tarlton does well with its efforts to protect and save endangered ocean species. Lots to learn and DO.

Best place ever. It was so much fun with lots to look at. Gift shop was cute and everyone was so lovely and helpful. It is definitely worth the money you pay.
