Such a relaxing and enjoyable day out. The zoo has a great atmosphere, plenty of shaded areas, and lots of interesting exhibits. Whether you're an animal lover, a photographer, or just looking for something different to do, this place is well worth a visit.
Great place to visit. Helpful volunteer staff are everywhere to assist if required. All other staff were friendly and helpful. Animals actually looked happy and well fed. Highly recommend a visit. Will definitely go back next time I’m in Auckland.
Auckland Zoo is a fantastic day out with truly amazing exhibits. The bird habitat is a standout. Beautifully designed and full of life. It feels like you’re stepping right into their world. The layout makes it easy to explore at your own pace, and it’s great that there are cafés in every section. Well worth a visit.
This zoo is one of the best I've ever been to in many countries around the world. The entrance fee is affordable, 29 NZD in 2026.nVery suitable for families. Relax atmosphere, plenty of big trees and happy animals.
We loved it! The kids enjoyed every moment. Just missed the rhinos. Was in time when they started feeding the Orangutans.nWill definitely be going again.
