My experience renting here was excellent. I rented an Isuzu MUX and took it for a little road trip. Car rental was uncomplicated and because I had to wait like 5min, the reduced the price of my rental by 10% Customer centricity at its best. Refund immediately received after returning the car
Had a bad experience with SIXT a day ago. Been a returning customer with SIXT for few years. Due to flight timing changes, I had inform their staff on collection day that I will be returning the car, 2 to 3 hours late. The staff in-charge at that time responded it was okay I have paid the full rental for that day anyway. But upon returning, was informed by another staff that I was late for 10mins and got charged for another day rental. Office was locked for lunch probably and I took sometime to look for their staff who was at the end of the servicing area Reason given was that the last day, the rental timing was from 00:00 to 10:53am. Anything past that, it's considered 2nd day rental. Just be mindful for customer who intend to return late, to make sure the change of time was reflected correctly in the contract before leaving. Other than that, no fuss on the car itself.
Very helpful staff. Helping solving problem when I mistaken Tullamarine branch reservation with Airport Tullamarine one. They still honor the rate...only add airport surcharge. Very helpful. Honest billing. No hidden fees. I rent Camry hybrid. Great almost new car condition at very very competitive price. Would highly recommend
I cannot rate this team more highly. I had to race to Melbourne from Sydney as my best friend's husband died. I was very distressed when I arrived at the office and the staff were lovely. The car I had booked wasn't available for 10/15 minutes. The staff immediately provided an upgrade to a super premium car with no additional cost. It is the best customer service I have received for a long time. Will always be using Sixt and recommend them to everyone I know.
We had a great first experience with sixt in Melbourne. Booked 8 hours before picking up car and was very pleased to be upgraded to an m series bmw. Handled the great ocean road well. Staff was great for pick up and drop off was easy as well. President Club at Hertz but they didnt have any cars and would say this experience was just as easy.
We spoke with Elena and the team at the airport. Our flight was going to be cancelled for a second day and she kindly helped us with a temporary booking in case we needed a car to drive back to Sydney. Elena gave us a great price and was so helpful and friendly. We didn’t need the car in the end as our flight wasn’t cancelled but 5 star customer service from Elena.
The car I received was great, new, clean and with a full tank. My problem was with the after service. They only ended up giving back part of my deposit. I didn’t receive any email/call as to why this occurred, no invoice and had to chase it up which I think is very poor form. I find out I was charged an extra day rate for apparently returning the car late which was incorrect. I did end up getting my whole deposit back after emailing them proof that I had left early for a flight, but I still think the initially communication was very poor. I wouldn’t have known if I hadn’t checked my credit card statement so make sure you check they don’t charge any unnecessary extras!
Staff were very easy to work with, very friendly and helpful. The cars were fantastic, very clean. Will definitely us SIXT again. Easy quick pick up and return. Excellent price also. Thanks.
We had a fantastic experience with SIXT. We had multiple changes to our travel plans due to flight cancelations and ended up arriving at Melbourne after their closing time but they stayed around to wait for us which was a huge relief after a stressful journey with our 3 month old. The return process was also easy and smooth. Everyone we spoke to was super helpful. Highly recommend.
efficient pick up. efficient return. car condition was excellent. two minor glitches — they ’guaranteed’ a model but instead gave a different one; the washer fluid was not topped up, so the reminder on the dashboard kept coming up. overall satisfiesd with the rental price and car quality.
