Went here for breakfast and had a nice view and dinning experience, very friendly staff.
We have visited Sirocco for several years as part of our holiday, and always had a great meal, that is, until today: No Meet and Greet After we chose our own table, menus did not arrive for another 10 minutes. At nearly $10 per glass for wines, I expect something a lot better than what was offered today. Food OK, but be careful as the menu does not describe the meals accurately. Will we return? Probably not
We went to Sirocco after browsing their menu online for a birthday meal. After being seated we looked at the menus and the meals that we were looking forward to we not on the menus provided. We decided to stay and try their food anyway. We ordered a Pizza and some pork belly with crackling, the owner and chef brought out the pork belly with no crackling, we asked about the crackling to our server who advised us that they were out. Outdated online menu. No apology from owner about lack of menu item. Drinks were expensive. Food was okay. Highly disappointing.
We waited well over an hour for our Breakfast which was average at best. The owner kept apologising saying it wasn’t his fault. It was. he opened totally under staffed with someone unable to do the job in an adequate time frame in the kitchen. This is not there fault, it’s his. For f.... sake take responsibility for your actions. If you can’t give a decent service and value for money, don’t open the doors. Remember most people won’t complain they just won’t return.
Firstly I will give the positive, the view is great. After a few years of going there this business has gone down hill. To the new owners I really hope you get your act together as is is sad for a business not to do well, however I must say the food and service were not upto standard, approx 1 hour wait for breakfast and then for it to be boiled not poached eggs and the pancakes to be uneatable. The young girl who served us did a good job considering the situation, however the manager should have stepped in earlier. Unfortunately I cant recommend this place and highly doubtful I will return.
The fact we eat here 5 times in 4 days probably says it all. Great food, lovely people and a fantastic setting looking over the water. The owners even went out to buy fresh ingredients especially for us to make a cocktail. Amazing. Needless to say we'll be back next time!
Lunch average menu Prices high for what is available. Extensive range pizzas over priced. Lunch snacjs good and variety offered. Service very Friendly and experienced. Venue well situated on Noosa River fabulous interesting views. Worth a visit
Fantastic! We had a look online before we came for the best place to go for breakfast in Noosa and Sirocco had 4.3 stars and it did not disappoint. The food was exactly how it looked in the pictures. Really well presented and tasted delicious. The staff are lovely, very friendly and you can tell they enjoy there job. Would definitely go here again! Thank you Sirocco staff.
New owners from September 18. Sadly they dispensed with the kitchen staff that had been so good for many years. Also the home made muffins that were previously so the best in town went with them. Muffins now outsourced and do not compare. Coffee quality also gone downhill. A former favorite, sadly no more.
Over rated for the price. Online and in the past is more a restaurant but in reality is much more a cafe now. Prices way too high for that format. We had a big family thing there, and shivered in the cold even though we were inside, right next to an unlit heater. Service was lacklustre, kept having to ask for the same thing again. In general though the food was nice.
