Came in for dinner tonight (21/01). Food was nice and price very reasonable for the generous serving size. My only issue was the fact that it was quite busy and there only seemed to be one waitress working the tables. She was a nice, friendly girl who suggested two dishes to my girlfriend and I. I think she was half Malay and half white. There seemed to be another girl who wasn't working the floor but seemed to always be on her phone whenever we looked around to get the attention of the staff. She made a few drinks but was mainly on her phone the whole evening. I'd definitely recommend this place but I can't help but feel sorry for the lone waitress who had to do the work of 2, maybe even 3 waitresses.

Tasty and  Authentic malaysian food. the portions are generous and reasonable too.  the food is fresh. its good to know that we got a decent place in the northern side of town to enjoy asian food.
the atmosphere is great and is located in a quiet corner of Polaris.

You know it's authentic Malaysian food when they serve Milo "Peng" using Milo from Malaysia. Great food and good service. Highly recommended.

Food here was amazing. Different to what I've been to. They got quite busy really quickly and for the deliciousness of the food i know why.

It's a truly authentic experience of Malay food, and with delicacies specific to the Riau region from the state of Johor.

There are specials every week, and have a selection of special sauces called sambal for the adventurous spice kick. I recommend the rice dishes with stewed meats, the two special types of laksa, the fluffy rotis, and the funky drinks. No pork or alcohol served though. 

The place is a little small for big parties (having had meals there with groups of 10 a few times) but still provides ambience and a unique taste of Malaysia tucked in a little corner of Polaris.
