I often order take out here. The service has gotten alot better, 5 months ago the food was going down but it has picked back up again. I recommend this place to my friends and family. I love the pork pan fried dumplings. They are so so good. The prices are good. I would recommend trying 😊😊 very happy customer. Been going there since it opened.

Service was decent but food is terrible. Food used to be good but recently when I order a sweet and sour fish to take away, the fish and batter are separated. I understand take away will affect the food but it only take me 2 minutes to get home which was still hot and just came out from the kitchen.

Got there at 6.30pm on a Sunday and got pretty prompt service. Food out within 15 mins. I had the Taiwanese Braised Beef and truly enjoyed it. The pan fried Beijing dumpling was good. The sweet and sour pork was crispy. Only hope that their chilli oil has more kick to it.

Been at this place twice, remember the phrase you really get what you pay....for? This rule applies here, poor quality food and lots of food additives and enhancing agents used...as someone who is extremely sensitive to additives I get a reaction within minutes of consuming them in food.
My friends dragged me twice in there and both times I had adverse reaction as well as stomach aches.....
The staff at this place are so busy they often ignore waiting people....
The owner who is always at register is the most unfriendly person I have ever met. 
She doesn't seem to know how to smile...she must train her staff in the same manner, as most of them also don't seem to possess any social decorum.
I guess their main focus is just money first....
I used to love the Thai restaurant few doors down, much dearer but great quality food now closed down...

Polaris Dumpling is popular amongst students or people who are not accustomed to pure, wholesome and traditional Asian eateries.

The food here is super average but good value for money. The real issues are the staff there. You are lucky to get served let alone a smile. They are always on their phones and one of the girls who works there needs to put her phone down and actually start doing her job. I've been here a few times and every time I'm met with a ridiculous wait time and rude staff.
