Had the sushi set lunch. With all of the side dishes it was very satisfying and delicious. All of the sushi is very fresh and flavourful. Even the ginger was amazing. I love fresh pickled ginger. All of the sushi melts in your mouth. Loved everything I had here and will return. Service is amazing and friendly as well!Food: 5/5
Highly recommend the omakase! All the fish and food was so fresh and delicious! Such a unique omakase where not all courses are fish but include oyster and meat. Love how you also get two pieces for each course Desserts were also delicious esp the strawberry daifuku Recommended dishesGrilled Oysters, Omakase
Another lovely omakase experience. We went for a 6pm sitting. Staff are attentive and friendly. Bookings are a must. We highly recommend! We enjoyed the Shiromi white fish with lemon and salt so much we ordered an extra serve. We did not have enough room for dessert :Recommended dishesNigiri Lunch Special, Oyster Sushi, Pan Fried Salmon Nigiri, Omakase, Yakiniku Beef
Highly recommend this boutique sushi omekase restaurant. Very authentic experience, full of flavour and portion size was good. Service was great as well, and staff members were very understand when we were stuck in peak hour traffic and running late. Needless to say, I'll be back again.
One of the oldest Japanese restaurants in the East/ S.E. Areas. Generous portion, Cha wan mushi was silky smooth. Chirashi is tasty and one of the most popular dishes. Atmosphere is somewhat causal, not for intimate date but perfect for catching up.
Maybe the best non expensive sushi restaurant in Melbourne? I got the nigiri set which come with pickles, miso soup, pasta salad and a tofu egg thing in a cup. The nigiri set has prawns, tuna rolls, and assorted sushi with ginger and wasabi too. Green sencha tea here is great
This is the place you come, for authentic sushi. Its also cutting edge, they have some unique and modern techniques. I recommend sitting at the counter for omakase, strike up a polite conversation with the sushi chefs. One tip, don't mix the wasabi and shoyu to make the murky gunk, don't add shoyu if they've already warned you not too, don't bite the sushi in half, don't pull it apart with chopsticks. Things I've learn with my limited grasp of Japanese. It will be a work of art, it needs no messing with in any way. These guys are very proud of what they do and it goes a long way when you appreciate and acknowledge that.
First time after lockdown made my experience of a high standard cuisine delightful. Their attention to finer details of umami gave that experience a satisfying meal
We had Omakase 9 courses for dinner, first thought was this is not going to be enough…. Haha actually it proved me wrong!!! Each person will have 2 sushi for each course, after 18 sushi I’m sure you will be satisfied - not just because the amazing food also the wonderful table service makes you enjoy the night without rushing. Ps. These photos are original photos not filtered
The omakase is great. Variety of dishes and you get 2 serves for each dish per person. A la carte is also great. Quality is top notch.
