Lovely spot close to the beach friendly staff and great food
Came to the Shingle Inn after an awesome walk along the beach and had The Sailor Burger with Beer Battered Chips on the side - a seriously, delicious meal. Highly recommended! The table was tiny and napkins were scarce but a great experience otherwise. Try it out!
Love Shingle Inn, the favorite place to go for lunch with my Dad. The sliders and chips are the best! - But have tried plenty of the lunch menu items and they never disappoint. Service is always quick and the staff are excellent!
Pretty disappointed with the quality and taste of mine and my partners food we had the other day. Flavor wasn't up to par of our waffles and caesar salad that we had ordered. Won't be coming back for food but the drinks/ coffee were okay.
Was searching for somewhere to buy a hot chocolate close to 5pm and the shingle inn was the only cafe open close to the board walk at that time, so glad it was. It was absolutely delicious! One of the best ive had! The staff who served me were quick in preparing it and also very friendly, thank you!
Lovely staff here at Shingle Inn, Caloundra. Nothing was too much trouble. I am a dedicated Tea drinker, here they serve good quality tea leaf tea, with extra hot water if needed. My husband loves his coffee & he was satisfied too with his long black. I had the 'Devonshire tea'. The scone was light & not too big in size, jam tasty & the cream rich. We also ordered 'Fairy cakes' for the grandkids. The staff packed them Up to safely take home.All round a geeat experience
New owners. Well at posting time Good food. Not cheap, overcharge on public holidays but for a quality meal without fuss it's easy and worth it if you are looking for a good place to sit down and eat.
The food was nice with great quantity and value for money, the atmosphere and location were nice, one of the cups wasn't clean though and had lipstick on.
An awesome place for breakfast.. Food didn't take long, the coffee was great. The owner was awesome. Thanks guys.
