Had been with GIO for a very long time: Insurance up 30.7% !! Shannons was recomended by friend. Excellent, advice/help over the phone, End result car and Home now insured with Shannons with a saving of AUD$1020.26 P.A. Identicle coverage. 10/10
The Shannon’s team are great, always very helpful & knowledgeable, quick to answer, never on hold for very long.
Please do not use Shannon's online chat, too much time delay in between chat responses, it's a waste of time chatting to this OS contact centre, just persevere and call the Aussie local team instead as they are really helpful!!!
So far my experience with these guy's has been absolutely first class. I have needed to contact them three times now and I spoken to someone different evey time but the service has very consistent. First class every time, 10/10.
Good website, but you can't get an online quote. Instead you're obliged to submit your contact details and then be prepared to wait for up to 3 business days for someone to call you back. In my case that wait proved worthwhile, not least because it gave me more than enough times to source quotes from 3 other companies, all of which proved to be cheaper than Shannons anyway!
Best insurance company ever I have been with them for years....never been ripped off best insurance prices going
After having a car written off my mother was told that the insurance money for the car would be in her bank account within 3 days to enable her to buy a new car. It has now been 2 and a half weeks, when she calls she is blown off by the person on the phone saying the money will come through soon.
