Booked in advance. Upon ordering the food came out pretty quick. Ordered their set D and pork set on top. The beef was marbled and wasn't self straight out of the freezer - meats were good quality. Great place for groups.
Actually, the dishes are quite good, which is shown in the first image. The main dish that we ordered is so spicy that we can not eat too much. Maybe they can update the menu and markup the food is spicy or not, and the spicy level too. Anyway, we took away the food and recooked by ourselves, hahah.Food: 3/5
Their non-BBQ Korean dishes are just as good as their BBQ options. Highly recommend their fried chicken; delicious sauce and perfectly cooked. Generous serving of side dishes, good for sharing. Small side dishes banchan were OK, with the staple kimchi of course. Although, I just realised there was no pickled radish for the fried chicken no need since it’s so good anyway.
Side dishes were limited in variety, only 4 types and had to get refilled 3 times due to small portions. Meat was ok and rice serving better but honestly prefer more servings of side dishes. Bbq pan doesn't use coal and didn't need the usual exhaust from the ceiling, some may like this I guess. Beware that the grillpan easily chars and will be very black especially if meat has marinade
I really adore this place. Its our spot to hang since early 20s. The food never failed and they don't stop coming up with new flavours and it never failed. Coming back after a few years, the food still taste as good as it was.
One of the best places to get Korean style dishes in the city CBD area. Their Kkanpunggi is the best . Side dishes can be replenished and lots of varieties. Paying with the card will incur a surcharge but paying with cash over $50 will be a 5% discount.
Service and food was good overall. The variety of banchan/side dishes is not great but it's possible to refill. The restaurant is one big room so it can get very noisy and stuffy.Food: 4/5
Rustic and bustling Korean joint. Food was pretty decent. Not the best bang for your buck tho $38pp
I like spicy crab so so much and every thing test very good.perfect combination…next time whould request no chili on my hubby dishes but on my dishes I need more chili Haha!!
Came here on a very busy Friday night without a booking and staff were able to accommodate our table of 3 within 10 minutes. Food was easy to order through their online ordering site, however at 6:15pm a lot of the menu items were sold out already. We ordered the fried chicken, sweet fried chicken and hot pot. Food came to the table quickly, was very hot and delicious. The fried chicken dishes were to die for!!! Loved them! Sides were yummy and well balanced. Staff forgot to bring half our drinks to the table so we had to remind them. Service was below average. Staff didn’t regularly attend the tables to see how everything was or if you needed anything. Giving this place 3/5 mostly due to the delicious food and initial service of giving us a table. Improvements need to be made in terms of service once seated.
