Came on a club ride. Wow! Awesome lay out. Great service, nice and quiet , Great rooms. Courtesy shuttle was handy to have. Exceptionally friendly staff, made sure we were well catered for Looking forward to next time we come through will definitely be staying here again Cheers -Jay

We stayed 2 nights. Excellent set up. A shared kitched, with 2 person units adjoining it.  Comfortable, clean and well fitted out. Our host was very accommodating. Highly recommend     Rooms: Comfortable beds, TV, wifi and very clean.

As per usual, Sentry Hill provided exceptional service. The room was awesome, the food pork belly, veges & cheesecake were 5 star. And just to top it off, they made me meatloaf sandwiches for my lunch. The meatloaf there is legendary amongst the trucking community. I enjoyed staying here that much, as a driver, that I've booked a family unit for this weekend so my family & I can come down & celebrate my Grandsons birthday in style. This is the only motel i will stay at whilst in the Taranaki region.I would heartily recommend Sentry Hill Motel to anyone. You won't be disappointed.

The family unit was great for our family, with 3 rooms, there was a bed for each of us. Tastefully decorated with everything you need in the unit. A bit of road noise, but didn't bother us. On a clear day you get an awesome view of the mountain.  SKY TV in the rooms so the kids were pleased, the addition of Free Wi-Fi was also a nice touch to keep in touch with Home and update Facebook with holiday snaps  It's a public holiday weekend back home, so came up for the final weekend of Festival of the Lights. Would gladly stay again, not so far out of New Plymouth that it's a hassle, close to Bell Block and the Valley too

Front of House person Jira was friendly and very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely young lady.  Rooms: Adequate, cleanish & tidy but rooms were very tired. Could do with renovation. Shower pressure low. Bathroom light didn't work in room 10. Although Sky TV was good to have in rooms.

Great people awesome food. As a line haul heavy truck driver excellent place to take a 10 hour break with easy access for any 9axle rig with at least 10 parking spaces for 9axles.

We were heading home as there was no vaccancies in NewPlymouth or surrounding district. Came across the flashing sign. Found the unit we had very clean, warm and the bed was very comfortable. We will stay here again if we need too.

Lovely owners/staff. Good food actual home style. Comfy rooms. The only let down was road noise. If you are sensitive to such, might be best avoided. If not, go hard.
