No doubt about the fish and chips being delicious, but being charged a "surcharge" on a Sunday night - not a public holiday - was a ripoff. Will be going along the road to the Skillet and Fillet next time. Since posting this, the owner has responded that the surcharge for paywave payments. No problem with that, but perhaps a sign to say as much on the counter would be prudent. If I had known, I would have swiped to pay.
Exactly what you’d want from a fish and chip shop. They offer a choice of 4 types of fish as well as the option to have it grilled, crumbed or battered. Prices are good, portion size decent. Good service too.

Decent portion size, my girlfriend and I had more than enough in one crumbed snapper and one scoop of chips. Taste was just ok, the fish was very dry. Tasted like it was frozen supermarket fish.
We just order Chios to go with our bbq. They were nice and fresh and cooked in clean oil, would go back to try thier other food.
My dinner fish, kumura chips and mussels were affordable with good portion size and tasty
