SEAMWORKS is a home business that offers a personalised service of dressmaking and clothing alterations for men and women. We are located in Doncaster East and our services are affordable and reliable.

Sandra at SeamWorks is a professional seamstress with a degree in Fashion Design and Couture, and has many years sewing experience.

We are specialised in custom garment design and creation, from simple dresses to gowns for debutantes, brides, bridesmaids and special occasions.

Our services also include:

Sandra is an actual ANGEL!!!! She is a very talented seamstress and beautiful person. I took my wedding dress to Sandra because it was second hand and needed a bit of repairing with loose threads. She not only repaired the dress in 10 minutes flat on the spot but also sent me home with my own sewing kit so I could fix any other loose threads that came up in the lead up to the wedding. My experience with Sandra has been amazing. I first contacted her to book an appointment, which she was happy to do but she also offered a free quote first to make sure it suits my budget before I came for my appointment. Sandra was very responsive during this process. When I came to the appointment, she told me that the strap which I thought needed alteration was in fact of a perfect fit. She also quickly fixed a broken hook of a zipper on the spot. Then she gave me a tip on how to overcome the slightly long hem instead of spending hundreds to shorten it. I am grateful that I picked Sandra from the get-go as she is very honest and transparent. Thank you, Sandra.
Sandra made my dress for my belated year 12 valedictory dinner and I am speechless for how incredible her work is. Her attention to detail is second to none and I received several compliments during the night on my dress. She truly made me feel like a princess and was so attentive to what I wanted. I used Sandra for altering my wedding dress removing the train and taking in the sides as it was a size too big and she did a fabulous job. It was a complex lace dress but nonetheless she managed to make it look even better after alteration than it did prior. She was professional and timely - couldn’t reccomend her more highly.
