It is a popular tourist destination renowned for its rich marine life exhibits and interactive experiences, based on visitor reviews.nThe daily seal shows are a highlight for families, with playful seals bringing joy to the audience.nInteractive areas such as touch pools give visitors, especially children, the opportunity to interact with marine animals like starfish, adding both fun and educational value.nIf you plan to visit, it is recommended to book tickets in advance through the official website or travel platforms to take advantage of discounts. Additionally, check the daily show schedules to plan your visit effectively. Plenty of car park but it will be pretty difficult to find a car park on the weekends. Ticket price is affordable compared to others sea life on the other state.
Absolutely awesome aquarium to visit, not only is there a lot to look at but the place is really clean and well looked after. The staff are friendly and the place is easy to navigate... the car park can be a bit of a nightmare... in saying that we did visit on a Saturday during peak middle day so that probably didn't help ! But overall if you are looking for somewhere to burn some time or take the kids to do something I highly recommend this place
SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast Aquarium is a fantastic place to explore marine life, especially for families and children. The exhibits are well-designed, and the variety of sea creatures is impressive. The underwater tunnel is a standout feature, offering a stunning view of sharks, rays, and colourful fish swimming overhead it’s truly mesmerising. The seal show is another highlight, entertaining and educational at the same time. There are also touch pools that allow kids and adults! to interact with some marine animals, adding a fun, hands-on element to the visit. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to answer questions about the exhibits.nHowever, there are a few downsides. I was disappointed to find only two turtles on display, which felt like a missed opportunity for an attraction of this scale. Parking is also quite challenging; while there are 2P and 3P spots available, it can take up to 20 minutes to find a spot, which is frustrating. Despite these minor drawbacks, SEA LIFE is a wonderful experience for anyone interested in the beauty of marine life. Just plan your visit early to avoid parking issues!
Sealife Sunshine Coast.nnThe aquarium itself is absolutely wonderful, the signposts and facts dotted around the place is wonderful, all the staff we came across were really helpful.nnJellyfish talk and the Seal talk were fascinating and you could see that the staff were really passionate about them.nnThe aquarium tunnel was absolutely beautiful and the talk on that was amazing.nnThe shop was suitable for all pocket sizes. If you are in the area I highly recommend a visit.
Loved Sea Life - what a wondrous underwater world! The seahorse display is magical and the ocean tunnel is amazing, with giant rays and sharks gliding overhead. Make sure you watch the seal show too. It was not too busy when we went but we bought timed tickets via their website anyway.
