Generally reasonable experience. Taking a star off as thought I was buying Australian made steel but received i-beams labelled THAS which is Tung Ho Steel made in Taiwan. I'm sure the quality is fine but the website makes a big deal about using Australian products and supporting Australian jobs- this was a factor in my decision making and I'm disappointed that Scotts Steel didn't deliver on this front. Their website has a long section on why Australian made steel is better for everyone but then includes at the bottom: "Due to certain steel products not being manufactured in Australia, or a supply shortage, there may be times when the use of imported steel is necessitated." Bluescope and many others roll UB150's so Scotts should back their words and supply Aussie made.

I have been going to Scott Metals for a number of years now. Every time i have a project on, big or small there friendly staff are super helpful and will go the extra mile to make sure that you get what you need to get the job done.

Great service...ordered a Fence Gate Frame on Monday and it was ready the next day. Wonderful workmanship and exactly the dimensions that were given. Fully welded in 50x25 RHS with middle rail & hinges. Sure beats the kit ones from the local Big Green Shed. Looks and feels solid. Great work.

What great service. One of the best prices in Brisbane if not the best. The staff here are a cut above the rest. Cannot recommend Scott's highly enough. They even charge your phone if your stupid enough to leave it there on a Saturday. Thank you so much....

I ordered a whole bunch tube at various lengths, everything was millimetre perfect and they even picked up on a mistake i made. I accidentally double ordered a length but they checked it agaist my cutlist and solved my error before I even knew about it.  Made my job much easier. Thanks!

You can't go wrong! Used for the first time, I rang as wasn't sure what to order and these guys helped we out.  Not to mention, Scott Metals was even trying to save me money.  These guys rock.  Quality product, quality service and super fast delivery!

Quick response to my enquiry and then once I place order communication was good and order arrived when they said it would. Will be happy to be a repeat customer next time I need steel.

Always great service. Bought a length of permagal angle and had it cut to size. In and out in 5 minutes. Great service. Can't do better than that. Deserve more stars really.

Drew up some plans for columns and beams, sales and fabrication guys were great with talking through the project and suggesting improvements. Gave me a good price with the order, it was delivered on time and high quality with eye to detail second to none. Will definitely use Scott metals again. Thanks! Robert
