Good vibe. We went on a Market day and there was a HUGE queue to order. I took that as a positive sign meaning it was popular. We were in no hurry so didn't mind waiting. Sat outside with a view of the Market and enjoyed people watching.Food: 3/5
Always a great place to go for relaxing coffee or meal. People forget the Car coming out of wall. See photos Always great views. Had the Barra with chips & Salad. Sorry no photo was hungry & it was delicious Scoopy's always has generous serves. Fantastic views too. Great food lovely spot over looking water. Service a bit slow but was lunchtime & lots of people there. Will keep going at quieter time.
We had Mother’s Day breakfast there , from walking in and the first greeting , the food coming out quickly and presented beautifully and tasted even better and the atmosphere was friendly made the whole experience from start to finish perfect on every level . On our table of 5 we all had different things everything was presented beautifully, great potion sizes and taste was expectational. Compliments to all . We had lunch on a Monday afternoon. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Food was Tasty as and vame out pretty quickly! We got works burgers and chips. Good serving size of chips. Seating is limited but there are public park benches and tables a short walk away. Parking: There is parking everywhere. Some may require a short walk but very doable.
Edit* The store manager contact me immediately and explained that the order was incorrectly entered into the till and therefore the kitchen was unaware of what was actually ordered. They have fixed the mistake which we appreciate so I have amended my review. Well done to the proactive manager. Paid for a toasted sandwich with double ham, double cheese and halloumi. Sandwich only and 2 pieces of ham ie one on each side a poor amount of cheese and no Friggen Halloumi! It cost $15!!!
Very good place to go and get some food while out at Bribie island. Food is delicious and staff are very friendly. Atmosphere is awesome, and plenty of places to sit. Can get veg busy in the weekends making waiting times for food extremely long, which is understandable. Dogs are also allowed outside in their seating area which is also very good. Pricing for the food is reasonable due to location of restaurant.
Casual cafe with a view turns out beautiful and delicious breakfast at an affordable price.Food: 5/5
I enjoyed the hamburger with an addition of cheese and pineapple. My dining companion had the hamburger also and we shared a serve of chips which was generous. They said the beef patties are made on the premesis. Definitely enjoyed our meal. Food came out really fast, there was a steady stream of customers so were were surprised at how fast it was. Staff were lovely. The outdoor eating area and ground, plus the shop itself were clean and tidy. We attended the shop in the evening after likely a full day of customers so staff definitely put in the effort to maintain the shop throughout the day. I would recommend this store and will be back. FyI there was a public holiday surcharge with signs stating the same as it was Easter long weekend.
This was my first visit to Bribie Is and Scoopy’s was a huge surprise. We chose it over nearby cafes because it had sunny places to choose to sit on a cool day as well as shady ones. The breakfast we were served was freshly cooked and very generous. They clearly don’t cook bulk batches of brekky items like so many cafes do even high-end ones and it makes such a difference. I eat breakfast out every weekend and this was among the best I’ve had. I can’t recommend Scoopy’s highly enough.
Best bacon and egg burger I have ever eaten. Beautiful cappuccino. Beautiful staff and location. My grandson said it was the best milkshake he had ever had also. He is 7 years old. Will be back next time we go to bribie. Food: 5/5
