A wide range for the home, from bathrooms, lighting to outdoors - some really interesting pieces. It’s a pity that their staff aren’t a little nicer. Several seem to think they are better than their customers. Turned me off from buying anything here.
A family member bought some bathroom accessories and the salesman forgot to send it to the interstate address that was required,but did so weeks after when delivery inquiries were made,they're slack arses!!
Shopping at Schots Home Emporium Bayside is a rewarding experience. The floor stock is historically accurate, eclectic and beautiful. Tracey gave us wonderful service. She is highly efficient, courteous and knowledgeable and went to considerable trouble to ensure we found the perfect option. Warren was also very helpful when I rang to enquire about products I had ordered. Both Tracey and Warren offered to make the effort without prompting to check storage options some distance from their stations.
I love Schots. Renovated a period home a few years ago including buying fixtures and fittings, bath, toilets for 3 bathrooms and a kitchen plus furniture, accessories and lighting for other areas of my home. Today we visited Moorabbin store to purchase for a current project but only managed to buy one item as both my partner and I had to leave as the store was unbearably hot. Not only did the heat in the store make it difficult to browse for items throughout the store but unfortunately this inhibited us from buying what we set out to get. It is disappointing that such a great store has failed valued and loyal customers.
Worst experience. I bought pendant lights for my kitchen on 5/12/2021. The sales representative told me that the lights would be available to collect within a week or two for sure. I bought the lights only on the condition that they would be available before Christmas in my new home. I also lined up an electrician to install them as most of the tradies were about to break for holidays. I had to call 4 times to enquire about the status of my order, no one contacted me proactively about the delay. Since the lights were not available for installation, I still had to pay callout fees for the electrician. I have to book another appointment to install them. I contacted the customer support of Schots for compensation but they simply denied my request.
TERRIBLE ! Absolutely the worst experience and customer service I have ever received. After paying for an Order I simply wanted to get a delivery price I live over an hour and am injured I called every two days for a month could never get an answer and was always told I’d be called back in within 20 minutes or by the end of the day always speaking to someone different who no one ever knowing what’s going on to be finally after a month offered half price delivery then to be offered free delivery locked that in just to be called the next day to be told to pretty much get stuffed and with draw the offer? SOOOOOO unprofessional I am so shocked a company treats customers like this.
Very nice place with a lot of things to choose from, and great ideas. Unfortunately the service was extremely disappointing. We were there for 10 minutes and no one single person approached us to offer help. We were even not too far from them, they were talking and making eye contact and didn’t offer help. I gave 2 stars because of the reasonable prices and the choices. I work in sales also and even people are just looking, you still have to provide a service, something that may be you need to improve in my opinion ....
Great for all antique things but staff a little complacent in customer service and sourcing products/ call back when in stock. Pricing is a little high but we were happy to pay to get everything from one place.
I’m an Electrician and regularly use a Schots to source light fittings. I’m now used to most employees being fairly rude when I’m in the store, but I keep coming back because the products are quite good and they have a huge range. Today I picked up four expensive lights and had to deal with Tracey. She was extremely rude and dismissive. I would have thought I’d be treated better considering I’m spending a large amount of money. I was told Tracey is the manager, how on earth do you become a manager of anything when your customer service is so bad.
Great customer support from Mel. She called me back after leaving a message in regards to confirming a postage amount which was very affordable for the pressed tin. I ordered Saturday and received it Tuesday! If the website states it is in stock, you will receive it when they state. Thanks team
