Scarborough Beach Resort

If you don't like the hustle and bustle then Scarborough Beach Resort is for you. We loved it the moment we stepped into our 1 bedroom apartment, modern, clean, refresh and a beautiful partial ocean view and most of all, very very relaxing atmosphere. Beautiful and Excellent picnic and BBQ areas, swimming, fishing and lots of children activities. We would recommend it to all our family and friends. The beautiful lady at reception was very welcoming, friendly and curteous. Thank you again, we enjoyed our stay and we would love to return again soon. Kirsten from Brizzy

Don't stay here.... arrived at1650, check-in was swift, found out I had already paid BEFORE I had even seen the room. Paid $200 and when I entered my allotted room found there was no light in the bathroom. When I attempted to contact reception found out that ALL HOTEL/RESORT STAFF LEAVE THE PREMISES AT 5:00pm. I rang the hotel number as if a new guest and got my call answered. Unfortunately I was told to use one of the lamps that worked beside the bed. No one available on site at night. All in all, not the best value for my $200. Won't be staying here again.

My stay at the apartments was short - just 1 day - but the experience was very pleasant. I arrived late to the apartment and had to use the intercom to get in. The lady who helped was very friendly and helpful. My room was very clean and comfortable though as a business guest I was slightly entertained by the fact that the desk had no power for my laptop nearby. Outside the strip of shops are very pleasant albeit this is a retirement community. Everything was shut by 930. The morning run along the water though was a great start to the day.

Stayed here numerous times while working in the area. Has everything you could need for short and longer term stays. Some of the rooms are little small on the lower floors, but definitely well maintained/stocked. Great location, ten mins to Redcliffe or 15 to the highway. All in all, good stuff!
