Was great shopping but i feel prices are a bit high
Savemart used to be the jam, but nowadays its way overpriced, within the last year or so everything has doubled/ tripled in price. I don’t know if they got a new pricing person or their one picked up the pipe but its really way to expensive. Other OP-shops in Levin who actually donate their proceeds to a cause and are way cheaper. The only thing thats not letting this be a 1 star is due to the massive selection they have which is nice
Disgusting attitude from staff in regards to mask exemption. How do you know someone doesn't have a mental illness that wearing a mask aggravates it. Maybe a woman was trapped or abused and her attacker covered her mouth. You disgust me.
Not as the name suggests, I’d call it overpriced mart...as it’s high priced for used clothing and shoes. It's Not ideal for the elderly as there’s no longer trolleys to push and it gets very hot inside in the summer and cold in the winter. I’ve bought items then got home to find holes in the garment or big rips under the arm so pays to check thoroughly or try it on as they don’t do returns. Overall not a great shopping experience. And what a joke they dont accept cash!!
Bought a merino top for $39.99 and didnt have any flaws mentioned on the tag, got home and it tried it on and there was a big hole in the arm. I didnt try it on in store as it was very cold in there that day. Waste of time trying to get a refund as it has to go to head office in Auckland which I've heard takes quite a while. I was also disgusted at their prices for secondhand clothing they've had to put more racks for the mens clothing as it's not selling fast enough due to their ridiculous prices. They need to change their name as it doesn't suit their prices. Also if you're going to have such high prices on the footwear at least have someone cleaning the mud off the soles. One star is being generous.
A very large selection of clothing in a huge warehouse space. Things are well organised by type, colour, gender, age, and size to a degree e.g. plus size section etc. Smaller selection of bags, shoes, toys, and fabric/Manchester. Most clothing items I saw were priced from $9-13, with the exception of coats which were usually $30-50 from what I saw. In some cases this might not be worth it, e.g. $50 garage brand coat which sells at the warehouse for $29. But in other cases it offers huge savings like a k+k top that sells for $120 going for $12 in perfect condition. So you should give yourself time to look through the selection.
Love shopping here, they always seem to have what your looking for, staff a quiet friendly. Prices are abit high for secondhand clothing though.
This place is exceptional. Seems they've gone for the "Derelict Closed Op Shop" look and totally nailed it. Extra points for recycling- they obviously rescued all their signage from the bin. Huge range of stuff, reasonable prices I wouldn't say cheap, but not bad. If you can find it circumventing their cunnings efforts to camoflauge themselves as a crumbling remnant of industrial wasteland you just might find some really cool stuff here. I got a Wolverine T-shirt that I will forever cherish.

Its a good place to spend abit of spare time ,but the prices are to high for a shop that gets everything donated!!
