It was a “Wow’ burger. Extremely big and so many stuffing between the bun. Literally I couldn’t finish whole and couldn’t even bite one completely I tried but it was fun tho. Have tried the beer on tap, we have ordered the Caribbean and apple something! It was so refreshing. Very good taste of the beer. Not a big fan of beer, but you make me love it.
Came here for an afternoon drink. Large venue with indoor and semi outdoor seating. Boardgames available for kids from a big tub located inside. Lots of craft beers on tap as well as a range of pub style meals. We got some of the beer battered fries and the spiked tiramisu. Both were delicious! They have a good wine list and attached to the brewery is a small shop where you taste and buy liquor. Very casual, relaxed atmosphere and one of the few places open in that part of Lake St on a Saturday after 2pm. Would definitely recommend giving this place a try.
I discovered this place based on a flyer at my apartment-hotel. Absolutely great find, extremely kind staff who waited patiently while also providing samples while I viewed the selection. The value and ambiance was fantastic to relax for an afternoon beer following a long walk with open seating. Their $22 beer and burger special from Wednesday to Friday was also a steal that I missed!
YES! What a find. Drawn in by a beer and burger lunch deal and it did not disappoint. Chicken with jalepeno, pineapple, chilli Mayo and slaw. The other smokey cheese beef burger. So many different beers to chose so we asked the staff... they were so helpful and knowledgeable and we had a great meal, great beers and the background music was enjoyable and not too loud. Winner!
Felt like a very large canteen. Maybe personal choice that I like smaller cosier bars. No table service so if you want a chat about beer a busy Saturday night night not be the best idea as you have to queue at the bar. Unfortunately my cheeseburger was really pink but quite hard in texture so I couldn’t eat it but I would go back and try the food again as the spicy chicken burger was ok and fries were good. I had a glass of the cab sav and it looked liked they had an excellent array of beers.
Large style brewpub. Lots of tables all inside. Great range of beers. Friendly staff. Bottle shop onsite for craft takeaways. This would be a great place to have a group night out or a boy's gathering.
The place is huge. There was more than 20 on tap beer options. All craft beers. Jordy really knows about beers and whiskey. He can help you to find your better tasty. Gary was also very helpful. And the food is good, you must try the truffle sauce. Sure will be back.
Great beer with good atmosphere. Visited here around 5 pm with kids, and it was not crowded. Sweet potato chips were good but chicken bowl coming with rice were too salty. If foods are chosen with care, it can be good place.
Nice atmosphere. Good choice for tasting palette. Food was nice. Ginger Beer and Pop was great. Check out the tasting in the little shop next door.
Amazing selection of craft beers and local gins!, both at the bar and bottleshop. Loved the venue with the large open spaces and industrial feel. The quality of the beer was matched with the great menu. I ordered the jerk chicken with the polenta fries, corn ribs and pineapple salsa - the portion size was massive and it tasted amazing! Definitely worth visiting, even if it is just to pick up some beers from their impressive selection.
