Story

Evan Sarinas has in excess of 20 years experience in litigation, commercial and property law.

He conducts complex litigation across the full range of business, corporate and property disputes as well as negotiating complex transactional agreements including property development and joint venture agreements.

He has acted for and against some of Australia’s business elite and Governments achieving excellent results. Evan delivers quick responses and solutions to legal issues whether by way of litigated or
commercial outcomes.

Achievements

Evan has achieved many successes against public companies, large corporations,
governments, and insurance companies in circumstances where other lawyers have refused to
act.

Recent representations include:
• Negotiation of $1 Billion commercial project
• Multimillion dollar complex easement litigation and negotiated settelement
• Complex construction litigation
• Multi-party Agribusiness litigation involving competing security and ownership issues
• $4 million negligence and breach of contract claim against a major bank
• Various successful and complex class actions
• Land Act 1994 conversions of State land to Freehold

Evan has also participated as a stakeholder in various business industries including
Entertainment and Hospitality, Childcare/Early Learning and SME’s. Evan also founded the Conveyancing Cottage Specialist Lawyers before becoming the Medical Negligence and Class Action Department Head of a major National Law Firm.

Evan’s entrepreneurial advice has assisted many businesses to flourish, backed by a
sound knowledge of legal principles and case research.

His personal passion is to take business to the next level through effective practical
business know how, ideas, targeting markets and creating the appropriate legal structure by
which the business can progress.
