Perhaps the simplest manner of crediting the principal attorney is to tell the tale of my matter being processed through the Federal Family Law Circuit.

After spending countless dollars in initial consults with several Townsville based Family Law firms, the hope of securing capable support had dwindled to the point where the competence of the law fraternity was drawn into question.

It seemed that the characteristics expected of legal representation being that of tenacity, adaptability, honesty, determination, dedication, due diligence, professionalism and empathy were definitions of character that were are a rarity in the civil sector.

In my state of despair, a friend suggested the expertise of Ms Diane Ruhl indicating the high regard Ms Ruhl was held in amongst her peers and her capability to undertake marital dissolves pertaining to defence personnel.

After 60 minutes of meeting with Mrs Catherine Mains and Ms Ruhl, any established pre-judgements and opinions of the legal fraternity had dissipated and were almost immediately replaced with an overwhelming sensation of calm and confidence.

The four months that endured following this initial meeting would bring to light the true colours of an amazing person.

Having to constantly adapt to an ever evolving opposing counsel and a persistently developing case matter, Ms Ruhl did not fault in any way more so, rose to the occasion with determination, dedication, merciless professionalism and courage in the face of adversity. Delivering rebuttal after rebuttal with absolute tenacity, driving the case in the right direction without interdiction and achieving the desired result.

The support that was rendered from both Ms Ruhl and Mrs Mains during the most difficult and wearisome time in a person’s life was well above any expected standard, tailored to the individual case at hand and will be something I will continue to appreciate in longevity.

I am therefore confident in stating that I have found Ms Ruhl to be a solicitor of the highest calibre; a true empathetic professional whom will always fight for her client regardless of how cripplingly daunting the task may be; and an individual that personifies the attributes of character so desired of a combatant in the legal space.

I have no issue nor reservations in recommending the legal services of Ms Ruhl and the professional staff within the Ruhl Family Law Centre.
