Had a really great experience here over the weekend! We were a large group and all had a really great time, from babies to adults in their 60's. They had an abundance of great facilities which were cleaned multiple times a day, and the pools were awesome too. All the staff were lovely and we found the campground had a very spacious feeling, despite being fully booked. Would definitely come back!
love this place we went for a short walk through one of the bush walks, then we ate and swam most of the afternoon away, it was pretty busy, but there's ample parking and plenty of room, toilets well stocked and clean as well as the changing Area, the barbeque area was pumping even had some Island music playing which was nice, always happy to come back here and we have always had a very welcome response by the owners /staff here, so we will be back again and again, this is a very affordable place to take the kids for a day of fun and laughter. don't pass this place by on your travels, its one of those hidden gems. there's also camping and accommodation and the pools are included in the cost, and a small shop for snacks etc, there is also two large public spa pools, and separate private spa pools for hire.
What a find!! This place is AMAZING! We stayed in the motel unit for the night, comfortable and great for the price of $130. You can go into the pools for free when you stay there but we opted for the private pool and at a very reasonable $10 each because we were staying there, I couldn't have asked for more! Perfect and will definitely be staying again!
Amazing place for a bush walk and swim. Very family friendly. Excellent service from the awesome staff. Lots to do and just a nice short drive from Tauranga. Definitely worth the trip there, we will be back!
Really good holiday park. Really nice staff, good cooking facilities plus it has really great hot pools. 1 huge warm pool, 2 smaller warm pools and 2 hot spa pools which are free with camping entry. Probably the best holiday park I’ve stayed at, especially for the price.
Gal at reception showed good people and customer service skills ... was flexible in allowing me to pick my spot for setting up tent. Good options for pools and easy walks around campground. I think there was a charge for using showers.
Lovely site with nice river and bush surroundings. Longest walk from reception is an hour. The bathrooms need updating as really basic but showers are hot. Kitchen area again is basic but adequate.
Fantastic stay had here recently - we took the whole motel complex of 6 rooms for our big group. Great set up, clean & tidy & private. Pools were fantastic for the kids and adults & we especially loved the bush walks & finding the beautiful clear water holes to swim in. New managers are lovely people too
Probably the best holiday park I've stayed at, great for kids, definitely family friendly. The pools/walks were awesome. To top it off the staff that work there are super helpful and friendly. Really enjoyed our stay.
Beautiful scenery and spa pool/pool set up. Unfortunately 2/3 times we had a spa it was cold. The times given for spa and bbq area opening hours were incorrect also meaning that we missed out one night despite planning our day around this. Accomodation was average for the price. Cabins look tidy. Extra coins needed for use of showers - but they were nice and hot. Unfortunately the cabin did smell damp and was difficult to air out. Fan heater was provided which came in handy.
