"Sweet Sorrento Mediterranean blues, Santini Grill is modern Italian dining with the freshest of sass. Western Australia’s finest produce created in the flavours of the Amalfi Coast. Line-caught calamari, Margaret River venison and aromatic hand-picked San Marzano tomatoes. An open kitchen showing all the smoky wood-fire drama. Pasta hanging overhead in a nod to nonna, this is bold divine dining styled in your terracotta dreams.Inspired by the sun and bolshy Italian flavours, our seasonal menu is made with local love. An endless pursuit for the finest tastes, we’ve discovered the country’s artisan gems. Aged Parmesan, custom made burrata, and young unfiltered olive oil served with a generous splash. Absolutely delightful experience overall, excellent food, great ambience and pleasant service all round! The dishes, though on the high end of the pricing scale, were actually decent in serving size. Every entree dish was very unique with its own texture and flavour, mains were cooked perfectly to order, and desserts were pieces of delicate art with a good balance between sweet and refreshing. I would highly recommend for a special night!
I've been meaning to post this for awhile and hopefully bump up the ratings for this place. It is actually amazing! Yes, pricey but people...the food is divine! Some of the tastiest food in Perth with a beautiful atmosphere as well and lovely service. Don't listen to the hit and miss reviews - those guys don't know what they're talking about.
An absolutely great dinner at Santini last light 10 Mar. Exceptional service from Vittoria and the whole team. Great to see good old fashion service, politeness and attentiveness at such a beautiful establishment. The food by the way...outstanding. From the entrees, mains and deserts Tiramisu OMG, was delicious. If your craving a good steak cooked properly over the grill, this has to be your go to place in Perth. Signature cocktails list was also a highlight and delicious. Overall, a really enjoyable night and we will definitely be back. If your looking for a seriously great meal and night out. you can't go past Santini.
Good atmosphere and the staff were nice and make sure you are enjoy the food and service there. Food was nice and my favourite dishes is the Squid Ink Risotto. A bit disappointed about the truffles pasta it was a bit over cooked.
Exceptional customer service, warm, friendly and made to feel at home. Loved the food, so well presented, attention to detail slicing and seasoning of the avocado, well done, poached eggs perfect cut in and just oozed, eggs benedict with pulled pork on point! My personal favourite was the quinoa yoghurt. No faults, just praise. Wonderful ambience, beautifully styled restaurant. Congratulations. P.S. 2nd time back and same if not better than the first trip to WA! Keep up the great work, quality and service! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available, gluten free bread, huge thumbs up!
Booked a table for 7 person on Oct 2021 at the grill, when we arrived on time, it was a sitting for 6 people. 2 square tables 'joined' together, so someone has to sit in between the tables and the 2 square tables were not levelled so plates cannot be placed in the middle, which makes eating very uncomfortable. Ordered 3 plates of beef, 2 medium rare, 1 medium well, when the beef came, the wait-person could not tell us which beef is medium well. Food was generally acceptable, I like the side dishes best, like the roast potatoes. However I don't think I would be back in the near future, unless it was to look at the design of the restaurant.
Came here for a Saturday night dinner and we had such a good time. Service is impeccable, food is delicious, atmosphere is very stylish and wine list is amazing. Would recommend 1000 times !Food: 5/5
We have had Santini's on our list to visit for quite some time now, having previously had drinks in the excellent bar next door. The menus are literally the biggest I have ever seen. Large slabs that you find hard to put anywhere on the table. Maybe one to look at. We had a selection of entrees, the delicious scallops and the tuna crudo. For mains we shared the rib eye. Cooked to perfection and perfect with the truffle mac and cheese we ordered. Being in Italian mode we shared a bottle of excellent Chianti. Bellísimo.
Sorry Santini, but your Santini Breakfast "Big Breakfast" was a woeful attempt at best. Not even a full rasher of bacon. What you see in the pic is what I got, and apparently when I asked I was told "that's the standard" if it cost $18 or even $20 I'd accept this, but not for $29.. how expensive is bacon? Seriously.. for reference.. here is a pic of a $30 "Big Breakfast" I had in Dunsborough that I was more than happy to pay for. Pick up your Breakfast game Santini.. and for the record, I sent this pic to a couple of people I know just to verify im not being a whinger, they agreed it was a terrible effort. "Truck stop brekky at best" Coffee was good, atmosphere was nice. Wait staff professional.
Dinner with a friend. The ambience and lighting is lovely, candle lights and very classy. The walk ways can get a bit crowded at times but not a big deal. I ordered the conchiglioni. Food was quick, but it was pretty average. The pasta pieces were a bit too al dente and the lamb was a little too discreet in texture and flavour, certainly not worth the $38. The menu seems a bit pricey and is not supported by the same kind of quality food, though the experience was nice. For a high end restaurant it seems a strange phenomenon to have to queue on the way out to pay for dinner.
