We are a family park located 1 hour north of Auckland City, we have plenty to do and see.

Reviews

This place us not only a campground, it has a historic value. There's an interesting story behind it and it feels like a historic village. Some houses are original houses dating 1920s and 30s! I found it very special :-) The camp manager was very friendly too. I highly recommend it!

Well appointed camp ground. Staff and fellow campers were all super friendly. Beautiful scenery and lots of things to see and do nearby. Awesome well appointed facilities that were kept neat and tidy daily. Definitely recommend this camp ground.

We last visited here 7 years ago. Very secluded bay and park setting.  Very new spotless toilets, showers and kitchen make it an extra joy to stay. Showers are limited in time and take time to run hot water so even more limited time offered.  Just 5 minutes walk to take a Mail boat trip to local Kawau island

Friendly and family oriented. 
People were respectful of the 10:30 noise curfew and the sweets shop was a hit with the kids. 
Reasonably priced for this time of year and the new shower block was always clean and provided a really decent shower. 
Shallow tidal beach means parents with younger kids can relax a little more.

Location was lovely. Cute old buildings and character filled holiday park.  The cabin we booked for three adults had only one bed that was really adult size. The bunks were very small singles and not good for slightly taller than average people.  Beautiful walking spots around.
