F30 328i taken in for service. Great service from front desk with my questions all the way to Pierz working on my vehicle. Informed me of what to keep an eye out and checked the vehicle to my satisfaction.
Hi RX Automotive, I am extremely displeased with how this has project has been delivered considering Pierz had seen the car in person before taking on the job and knew what my expectations were, which was to register the vehicle as a daily driver/club rego. My ignition barrel, bonnet and boot paint have been damaged whilst the vehicle has been in your care since 29th of April, 2018, and you have been at times unresponsive and unable to provide or stick to an agreed timeline. I would also like to note that although there was damage to the windscreen, and there were holes in the boot where the original spoiler had been removed, the paint was in overall great to excellent condition. I also have a Facebook message confirming the car had been washed down prior to being delivered to Pierz personal property. It would be reasonably expected that in 4 years the car would get dirty just sitting there, and I had the car detailed at your request due to the state of the car, which cost me roughly $600. You have also had me source additional brand new parts on my own time instead of using the agreed budget and then provided me two separate final invoices of differing amounts. I have received advice from a third-party mechanic that suggested that this job should have taken no longer than 6 months, however here we are nearly 4 years later, and he has queried why the job was spread over multiple invoices instead of just the one. This made it near impossible to track the amount spent over the course of the job and requests for the total amount invoiced led you to accuse me of owing further money, for me to prove incorrect via bank statements. I am still slightly confused as to the total cost thus far and you have still failed to provide me with this figure, as this is not listed on the final invoice. Avoid this mechanic if you value your time and money. Does not have the skill to work on anything more current than an e30.

They KNOW BMWs! My old 325i was idling and accelerating erratically and there was a brake problem. Four other garages who will remain nameless were mystified although they still charged me. Then a BMW enthusiast told me about RX Automotive. Piers and his father Simon fixed the problem while I waited! Fuel system cleaned and checked, new brake fluid and hoses, plus explanations I could see and understand. They are champions! I will never take my precious car anywhere else for mechanical issues although Coopers Plains is 25 kms from my home.Services: Brakes
Just a great big shoutout to everyone at RX Automotive. My wife's car was dropped over by RACQ around 11.00am and had a call around 2.00 pm . Fault diagnosed, petrol pump replaced and good to go by that afternoon. Much appreciated. Will be back for servicing in the near future.
I had a damaged sump from a thrown bolt on my m3 RX were happy to install one from their inventory than make me outlay a new one. Thanks guys really appreciate this hopefully my old one machines up and works for you. Its a example of you dont have to but you do it because your able and want to help out a customer.
Excellent service and competence! Being of 'mature years' and a cynic I rarely provide reviews but RX Automotive warrant being an exception. The E30 with a transplanted M50 engine was built in Melbourne and trucked to Brisbane with a few remaining identified challenges to sort. After a couple of chats and an e-mail of the scope of works the car was dropped off after hours. The next day they had evaluated the car and spoke of the required works including videos and shots plus other things they had noticed to prevent future disasters/expense! All tasks done within the agreed time frame and useful advice provided based on their experience. Pierz and Simon do a fabulous job - reasonable prices and you get the benefit of them having 'done it before'!
I'd be here all day if I was dwelve into detail as I've done several unrelated jobs with Piers. What matters is that he espouses a great technical knowledge coupled with fantastic customer service each and every time. Especially during my latest mishap at the time of writing this review where I had to get my E46 towed into his shop in the middle of the night without him knowing about my trouble. I wasn't able to call him as it was the middle of the night so he had no idea about this but by the time I called the next morning to advise him I'd dropped the car off due to a non-start issue, he had already diagnosed it and test driven the vehicle. This was with no advance notice at all. If you've got a prized BMW then these are the guys I'd entrust with any job.
Honesty, integrity, quality tradesman , you pay for what you get, excellent value for money and piece of mind. Rarely in the automotive industry do you find someone with all of the qualities I've just mentioned , I would nt trust anyone one else, If you look after your BMW as much as I do, there only one other person that will as well , and that's this guy. Best BMW whisperer in Brisbane.
