Story

I am really humbled that there are likeminded people out there searching for a natural brand with amazing ingredients that you can actually pronounce, without all the synthetic fillers and preservatives. Rustic Peppermint started off by me exploring essential oils and their endless possibilities and wanting to incorporate Veganism, a healthier way of life, toxin free skin care and cutting out chemicals. It has been a dream of mine to create a Vegan business for some time, but I always thought it was going to be related to food.

I started making my own Lip Balms a few years back after finding beeswax in most of the store bought ones and when I bought Vegan balms they were not conditioning enough on my lips or I didn’t like the feel or taste. I started off with such simple recipes and after making about 30 batches of lip balms over time I found a few winning formulas. Phew!! I had many friends and family along the way trialling them and telling me they were awesome, so I knew I was close! HAHA. Who knew making a few Lip balms would unleash my total desire for creating natural skincare!

Mission

To create awareness about a plant based lifestyle and how easy it can be to live that way and to encourage people to read labels and be aware and in control of what is going on their skin, in their home and in their bodies.
