We adopted a cat at the Lonsdale RSPCA recently. The staff were incredible at listening to our needs and environment and pointed us in the right direction when it came to personality and tolerance. We left with the most perfect cat for us. He is patient, kind and cuddly. My children are so in love with this beautiful 3 year old cat. Thank you so much for helping us find our forever furry friend. He is so loved.

An amazing experience for me personally  I seen two dogs the first bella was so sweet But Miss Boo won my heart this is about 2 hours after she moved in and ate and drank    Thank you to the staff for today you made it so easy to pick her

TodaySunday 18th Dec we went to take a look at the Cats & kittens and met a wonderful volunteer I think his name was Mitchel. He was really helpful. He had great knowledge when it came the cats and kittens and the different breeds and characteristics. Thank you so much!

Animals other than humans need love and affection too.  This shelter has been a long time super hero for all the unfortunate fury friends here in south Australia.  Operating with respect, integrity and love.  Please donate as much as possible.

The animals all seemed to be well looked after in the time they spent there. It didn't seem to take them long to find new homes when we were looking, each week we went nearly all the ones from the previous weeks had been re-homed. Eventually found the dog for us, even though he's the breed and sex we said we wouldn't be getting,  Harry was just full of love!

Busy. Not sure what will happen to the kittens the feral left behind. Mixed comments from friends are a concern. The kittens didn't ask to be born, but they still deserve a decent home.

My partner and I went into the Lonsdale shelter to see the dogs and to see how they respond ti both of us but was turned away because we had to do a virtual walk though, I wanted to adopt 2x dogs or even a pair that day and I was not happy with the service my partner I received, I also looked on the website before and after we had arrived and it said walk ins were welcome after the 16th of January, no bookings to be needed. I will be looking elsewhere.

went there today for a puppy and am super happy! we had an appointment for as soon as they opened and it was already really busy, so I'd recommend getting the earliest appointment possible. the workers/volunteers were all really nice too which helps.

Friendly staff who work very hard to ensure all animals are provided with love, care and enrichment. Thank you for your services RSPCA!

So excited to meet our new forever friend today. He's such a beautiful boy and had settled in so well. We're already in love
