We serve lunch & dinner Monday to Saturday. Our menu features traditional pub fare along with quality Australian game meats. Our Wednesday night 'Roadkill' showcases a unique selection of Australian game meats & seafood. Our 'Roadkill' menu changes each week according to to season & availability, we feature game such as kangaroo, wild rabbit, camel, emu, Tasmanian possum, Flinders Island wallaby, mutton bird & seafood - if you're Game! Our regular menu is also available on Wednesday nights.

Fantastic feel with great beer and excellent food. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Relaxed atmosphere and a great location convenient to North Melbourne Station and the CBD. Weekday food specials available.

UPDATE IN AUGUST 2018 The pub changed hands since my last review and is now a more typical local pub. Still friendly service and a comfortable environment but more casual and a simpler menu. We've taken a bunch of kids there occasionally and its low stress because the floor is polished concrete and there is plenty of room for kids to run around. It has a wood fire in the dining hall which is a nice touch in the winter months. For carnivores, there are large blackboards on  the walls explaining the various cuts of meat. they also offer a meat event - where, if you can gather up 11 friends, they'll run a class for you.

Nice staff, good atmosphere. Decent food and  tab beer. Just that it would have been perfect if the vege was less salty. Understand the sausage should be salty, then the potato should be not seasoned with salt so that both can go better with. :

Had the peppered roo and the roasted chicken and cannot describe how underrated this place seems, even just in terms of their food. Very high quality, peaceful, neat, and friendly. 10 times out of 10 would recommend!

Fantastic pub! Cold beer with Carlton Draft on tap plus a great selection for those that like the more boutique varieties, nice wine list, great meals and a perfect pub atmosphere. Highly recommend

Great place for a beverage, especially if you're inclined to bring your puppers with you. Not only is this gem super dog friendly, they offer amazing service and a friendly atmosphere. We'll worth a visit when you're in this neck of the woods.

These guys are the best... went in just after the kitchen closed but the chef and waitress insisted it was okay and still could order one last meal! We ordered 2 parmas and a couple drinks! And by far one of the best parmas I’ve had! It was nice, quiet and a friendly atmosphere! Highly recommend!!
