Friendly staff, casual and relaxing atmosphere. Love a good lunch from this place. Lots of space for work friends to join in and share a meal. We have had lunches here many times over the years and they’ve always been consistent. We usually finish strong with something sweet.
Bistro is clean and spacious, easily accessible. Staff were friendly when taking our order. We had the steak special with chips. There's a children's play area next to the bistro, easy to keep an eye on the kids while enjoying a meal. Would recommend.nnWe were at the Imperial Hotel across the street and asked about food but apparently they advertise a bistro but don't serve food. They pointed us across the road at this place.
The food was great, good value and good proportions too! The staff had set up an area for our celebrations that was spot on. Love the old-world charm of the place. Ash, in particular, who worked the bar, the counter, and later helped clear the tables was so helpful and amazing !! Parking is so easy too.
We've been here before and it was great. Food was worth the money, service was great, kids play area too. Friendly cosy environment.nnThis time round we noticed a few things missing off the menu. For example no more Korean fried chicken. We ordered and were told a few things aren't available Rump Steak, so my husband opted for the Eye fillet instead. Dessert the mud cake wasn't available. Also noted the steak sandwich now doesn't include the bacon and egg. Those are add on options now.nnThe meals did take a while to come out, they were decision though. The server on Sunday 19/11/2023, she was lovely and looked like the only one tending to all the tables and peoples needs. She was great, and should be acknowledged for her customer service skills.
Food was not good, I had barbecue pork ribs, sauce just poured on top, cold underneath, slaw very chunky. Hubby had steak and enjoyed his. Service was good.
