We purchased our Royal Flair Aussiemate caravan May this year and needed some warranty work done. We took the van to where we purchased it from Chapmans at Nowra who did some if the work. As our travels took us to Melbourne the work was completed at Royal Flair Workshop. They were fantastic. Everything rectified and we were able to continue our journey same day. Their work exceeded our expectations. Thank you Brendan , Caroline and all those who assisted.

I had a 17' Royal Flair Discovery which I bought new. The best day I had with it was the day I sold it. It was without doubt the most poorly built caravan I have ever encountered in my 40 years of caravanning. I ordered the Van in NSW , but took delivery from their little factory in Victoria. Here are some examples: The vinyl flooring had bumps everywhere because the glue had not been spread evenly. They had supplied a carpet mat for the kitchen area, which I thought was a nice touch until I discovered it was there to cover damage and a hole. The electric water pump I ordered had not been fitted. It leaked like a sieve from day one, countless hours were spent with the sikaflex gun. The two wheels were 16", but the spare was a 15" The microwave gave up the ghost on the first outing. The supplied hydraulic jack came out at a damaged carton and didn't work. The awning track was made from two pieces of offcuts. Royal Flair installed the air conditioning without an H- frame resulting in the air conditioning unit bouncing around and breaking away and the pop top filling with rain water, ruining yet another holiday. The dealer ordered another pop top, and installed it only to find that the Royal Flair Monkeys (RFM,s) had supplied the wrong sized H frame! The dealer had to rip out the H frame and install a plywood one. This made the pop top too heavy, so heavy duty gas struts had to be fitted. Removing and replacing the vinyl sock so many times meant the vinyl and aluminium had more screw holes than a Swiss cheese. The first time I turned the TV antenna handle it fell off in my hand because the RFMs had trimmed too much off the shaft. There were two batteries which did not charge because the RFMs had installed a regulator alongside the battery box, too far from the car battery to work. The upholstery was in a green pattern, however the pattern on one side of the bed area didn't match the other side. The overhead cupboards were stapled to the wall frame, Large tracts of staples were missing so I had to go through the entire van and replace the staples with screws. Underneath the Van I found that when the RFMs had nailed through the floor to the chassis, they had missed their mark on a dozen occasions. The hand brake cable bracket fell off due to poor welding. The boot never stopped leaking. There above is just a summary and is only part of the story, unsurprisingly the dealer dropped Royal Flair. They told me mine was not an isolated case. My advice, buy a Jayco, I currently have a Silverline, a superb Van built by professionals in a proper factory.

Lovely, This caravan rides like a dream on the simplicity suspension. Have towed it across the Nullarbour and back without any problems. Nothing moves around in the van. Even a bowl of fruit stays put. Speak to any Royal Flair vaners to see some happy people.
